Terrible, took forever and a day for them to answer the intercom, couldn't understand what they were saying, went to a different stall, took forever again, still hard to hear or understand what they were saying. Took forever to get the order ( cheese sticks and 3 blasts) handed me the first cup of ice cream, sides all dripping wet with melted ice cream over the cup. I looked in it and could see the ice cream was watery and melted. I told them I could not accept this and sent it back for a redo. Waiting, waiting and more waiting to the point I almost left but she hadn't taken my payment. I pulled up to the store itself to try and talk to someone working but no one came out for a long while. I was just going to pay for the cheese sticks and leave. Finally someone came out and I stopped them and asked about our ice cream. She brought them out, again ice cream all over the side and bottom of the cups, I asked for napkins because she had none. So I had to wait for her to go back inside to come out with napkins. I used a bottle of water I had to try and rinse off some of the stickiness of the ice cream on the outside and underneath the cup. I asked her "what was going on in there" and she informed me that there were 3 people working, others called in because it was a holiday. Oh, I almost forgot... My wife and I stopped in for a sunday after a long day for running errands. We ordered a chocolate sunday, she repeated my order back to me as a chocolate sunday, but we were charged for and given a chocolate milk shake.
We called them back to tell them this was the wrong order and, after the kid talked with the manager he said, "If you were eating that milkshake we are going to have to charge you for a new sunday." I said we were not eating it I just pushed the whip cream to one side to see down into the cup to confirm that it was in fact a chocolate milk shake.
He comes back with a chocolate sunday with no whip cream and no cherry. When I asked him about it he said "Opps they made it wrong" I said before he left that, oh by the way I was charged for a $3.00 milk shake, but ordered a $2.00 sunday.
Here comes a rude, unhelpful night manager, with an attitude asking for my receipt which I did not get.
So after all this the kid comes back with the original sunday this time with whip cream and a cherry on top. And after all these mistakes and problems and being yell at by a rude manager, the sunday was a coffee flavored sunday, not a chocolate sunday as we had originally ordered.
So I'll say again, "Are you kidding me" That is about as many mistakes a Sonic's could make on a single ice...

Your drive thru girl even had to ask me if it was the triple smasher bacon burger. So who's wrong? Or me who has an anaphalytic allergy to onions....I know your ged probably didn't teach you but that means you will die if you don't have an epi pen near.
To the guy who took my order back in, thanks for being cool. To the skinny I assume manager.....there's a reason you work at Sonic....I'm surprised you made manager....they must have been desperate with your terrible attitude. You probably told your family you were essential during COVID... your unessential to the world.
UPDATE: This happened again at another location in Kingsville. First incident was on Feb 14 or so. This time an app order that clearly said no diced onions. Go check the review...
