Sluggers Bar — Restaurant in Alice

This place has SO much potential. I’ve been in town twice, and unfortunately, have had the same experience. You’d think, with it being so slow, the bartender would make it seem like they appreciate your business. This bartender didn’t. She had a barstool behind the bar, so anytime you took her away from it, she seemed annoyed. Literally any time I asked for a drink, it annoyed her. I asked for a shot, it annoyed her even more, because it took her back to the other side of the bar, to pour it into a Jell-O shot cup. Gentleman next to me closed his tab, and as he was handing her the receipt said thank you, and she just walked away. Like I said, place has so much potential, but when you have a bartender like this, it makes people not wanna come back. I’m sure with a different bartender, it’d be great. Not so much with this one. Either be a people person, ready to serve people, or find another gig. I could understand if you’re in the weeds, but it was not busy at all. As of my experience, I was a regular, keep in mind I would go every weekend either Friday or Saturday or both days. I walked out the restroom, a gentleman was taking his shoot on the pool table I let him take his shot, as I walked by i wave my hand up to let them know I'm going thru cause it's a little crowded in that area, as I was walking my seat was takin at the bar so I was looking to find somewhere to find another seat to sit at then was proceeded by a women there that was sitting in that area around the pool table area came up and slapped me and I was told to leave by management. I was told I was the problem so I had to go. I went back a month later out of a good faith to try to give them good business as soon as they all saw me my service was treated horrible saying my vaping was affecting them, when it didn't bother them in the past. after all this I found it better just to stay home and drink and not give...
