I’ve been coming here since I was in high school—it was the first place I found on Google when I searched “vegan near me.” I’ve been visiting occasionally for the past six years and not much has changed in terms of menu items/atmosphere. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

My favorite menu items here are the vegan mac and cheese, peanut butter fudge squares, and chai lattes. I love that the mac and cheese has sauce made from scratch which does not include vegan cheese products. The menu is very vegan-accessible with a great selection of dishes, drinks, and pastries. I had an apple turnover here recently that was excellent. The vegan options are far from afterthoughts and on par with businesses that are exclusively vegan.

Staff is friendly and the charm of the business being small and warm is felt. This is not a chain-like environment where you’re meant to grab your drink and go without having a human interaction. The location is wonderful—spend time here! Dine-in is better than takeout so you can savor the atmosphere, and also because the location draws a crowd occasionally which can make speedy pick-ups suffer—but that’s any business with a lot of patrons.

The Moth is a great place to catch up with a friend or go on a date. Whenever I bring a new friend around, they are delighted and talk about returning. I’ve worked remotely here and there are outlets around so you can charge your computer throughout the day. There are usually a lot of kids coming in and out but they are rarely disruptive and I love that the environment is family-friendly.

There’s also a bunch of things to do nearby like check out other businesses in the mill, see the lake across the street, or visit the park just shy of the bridge. There’s also a pond on the property near the outdoor seating area and there’s usually a bunch of ducks and geese. I’ve been seeing a great blue heron recently too. I am moving soon and I will sincerely...

Moth coffee house used to be very silent and peaceful place . I don’t know what happened, but since couple of months there has been weird clienter and lots of people. People should know that places like this is meant for calm, peaceful outdoor people who want to have a nice and good time to eat and drink a coffee. Inspite of having vegan and healthy options this place is really meant for people to sit and enjoy time in an old style classic cafe, NOT a place for bunch of people and families, who are loud and who are making loud music. I know that this young generation is more into loud and indefinite music which does not make sense, but this is not a place for that, please chose RubyTuesday, Applebeas or Hard Rock Cafe for your music and gatherings. Or atleast chose one day for your music and gatherings so that it will disattract decent people who want to have quality time at that particular day. This is an old and classic place for different kind of people who has a class and want to enjoy time in peace. Everything is amazing what they make and serve. But it is very important to maintain the atmosphere and balance and the nativity of the place. There is no reason to change anything because of what is in style in today’s modern and...

So I go to this place for the first time after hearing about it from some of my friends and as I walk inside I get a warm greeting from the Barista as well as from the aroma from the food, the loving music, and cozy atomosphere. My first reaction is, well I know where ill be spendibg a lot of my lunch breaks from now on, and i havn't even ordered the food. I was planning on ordering something small just to try it out, but after seeing the food line up I had to get a full meal. As I'm ordering the food the barista flows right into a seamless conversation and some suggestions to tweak the food just so to get it to my specific tastes. I sit down at a tree trunk table thinking my foods gonna take 20mins or so, within 10mins or less ( I wasn't really keeping track) my food is brought out by the manager who welcomes me, introduces herself and shared some lovely conversation with me, turns out we have some common friends. The food came right out of a photo shoot and some how managed to taste better then the appearance. If there were a way to give this place a higher rating I would. I will deffinatly be comming back here, and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to brighten up there...

I really dislike leaving bad reviews but I also want to be honest. The one star is for the ambience, which is lovely. I wish I could say the same about the food and drinks. Got two lattes, one with lavender and soy and one with regular milk. They mixed up the orders which is fine (they fixed it) but the lattes were unfortunately terrible. We had to request an extra shot so we could taste something other than milk and even then, it wasn't great for a place known as a coffeehouse. We also got two sandwiches. The grilled veggie sandwich is a flatbread with mozzarella, grilled veggies and salt - no seasoning, no sauces, not much taste. The second one was even more disappointing, - the vegan sausage sandwich, pictured here. It was literally a quarter of a baguette with some unseasoned grilled peppers/onions and a vegan sausage thrown in for $9.50... Do not recommend unless you are searching for vegan baked goods, in which case this place is mediocre. And the ambiance is lovely. But save yourself the trouble and don't get much else.

We recently visited The Moth Coffee House in Allentown, NJ for breakfast, and it was an outstanding experience. The scone and quiche we had were both delicious, perfectly baked, and full of flavor. Their cold brew was excellent and a perfect complement to our meal. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with plenty of seating options to suit different preferences. While we waited for our food, my wife explored the charming clothing store next door, which offered a unique shopping experience. To top it off, there's even a yoga studio on-site, making it a truly versatile and community-oriented space. Overall, The Moth Coffee House is a hidden gem in Allentown, NJ. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee, a leisurely breakfast, or a bit of shopping and yoga, this place has something for everyone. Highly recommended!
