It's like every other Taco Bell in most aspects except: across from Mount Union University, less and limited parking, hence drive-through is busier. Building is rather close to road, which was expanded not that long ago. It was clean and tidy, even outside and around service and refuse areas. This was despite being short-handed with signs up pleading for suitable and reliable employees (not their words but obvious in intent). The people there were busting their butts and making things happen well, with tempers well under control about the hard time they were having taking up the slack for those they lacked, whose duties had to be divvied out, sometimes those extra things were kind of put back in the list of things that were already thier responsibility. After all, rhey need to get their own work done too and that is so timed, hurried, and regimented that they really don't have wiggle room in their own task schedule to do someone else's job too. Good news is that they pulled it off, in great time for each customer (while I was there), in a polite and friendly way, although during less time, and delivered the correct and also high quality products... No mistakes. You could tell that they were rushed and stressed over things being less smooth and efficient, but they did far better as a team than I would expect, seeing other places in the same situation. I'll eat there again, even if they are...
Read moreQuality and appearance of the food was Terrible. cheesy Gordita crunch was completely smashed into a million pieces. Fries were old. no nacho cheese on a cheesy bean and rice. Was missing a regular Dorito taco, so I went back, told them about the taco and asked if they could remake the cheesy Gordita. The employees were nice, at least the one at the window was, order was remade and handed to me. I check the order as I pulled out and the taco was wrong. So I pulled around again, let them know that I wasn’t sure if I just didn’t say it needed to be regular or what, but there was miscommunication and my taco was wrong and it needed to be regular. Offered to give the food back And to show my receipt, but was assured all was fine. I check the new taco and all is fine. I get home, sort through the food , figured why not eat the first Dorito taco they gave me even though it was wrong, it’s covered in tomatoes(while yes I under it was a supreme but that was way over portioned), soggy from all the juice and completely shattered. Definitely not edible, so I’m glad that it was just an extra. The hospitality is not the issue, it’s the ones on line not watching their screens and or not...
Read moreEvery time I go to the Taco Bell on State Street near Arby's it is a horrible experience now. A crunch wrap that is only lettuce and tomatoes with all the beef cheese and sour cream (the good stuff) in the final 2 bites. Got the double cheesie beef burrito or whatever it's called with the red chips on it. All rice and salt with very little beef and the sour cream and liquid cheese in the last 2 bites again (or one man bite) it was so salty I was sick for days. I mean that burrito probably weighed over a pound and had maybe a teaspoon of sour cream in the very last bite. The sour cream is there to cut through the salt. Same with lettuce and tomatoes. Spread it out and make your food even instead of just scooping it in line like a caterpillar. Taco Bell went from first to worst. Literally my last 10 visits here have made me bloat from how disgusting it is but my wife just can't let go of the taco bell glory days so we keep going for her. Their sausage breakfast burritos are great though and the chicken chalupas...
