Old Fashion Barber Shop — Local services in Pohatcong Township

My grandpa went to this barbershop for years. He always loved it. I had my mother bring my son there today and we will never come back.

The lady was given a reference picture + was told exact instructions as to what we wanted done. Didn’t even come close.

I specifically said not to cut any of his hair on the crown area and she did the exact OPPOSITE!!

All my son wanted was for me to braid the top of his hair for his first day of school and she completely chopped it. His hair on the top was at least 5.5inches long and now it is about 2in long and uneven.

$15 for nothing + had to spend an extra $10 somewhere else to...

The old man is a complete jerk. I asked for a two on the sides and to just trim the top ended up giving me a buzz cut with patches. It looks like a five-year-old cut my hair, what a complete embarrassment. He is too busy talking and won’t shut up and doesn’t pay attention while he’s cutting hair it’s almost as if he doesn’t care at all. I loved this place, the ladies did a great job with my autistic 6 year old. The owner, not so much! His response was spraying my child in the face with water, asking him how old he is (like a your 6 why are you acting like this) getting mad when he would pull on the cape because the hair against hom set him off... there was no remorse. He "joked" saying hes going to charge your mom by the hour and when he said mom is this good i just said yes so we could leave. He finished with "i need a drink" and my oblivious child said me too!
