I was looking for a nice place to have an enjoyable celebratory late lunch/dinner. As I was browsing through the selection of restaurants I stumbled upon this little gem of a place. I saw online that they had a nice sizeable menu so why not try them out? Pulling into their parking area I see there are plenty of parking spaces and it wasn't crowded. Walking up to the front door you can tell they care about the look of their area. Everything was clean and in place. We were greeted by the host and she sat us in a booth that had tons of space. Looking over the drink menu a Rose Wine caught my eye. Was it the best...no? was it decent enough?...yes. I prefer a more well-balanced slightly sweet wine and the sweet was not there for me. The menu had a good selection of dishes from appetizers to dessert. We started with the spinach dip, which was hot, chunky, and creamy. Not the best but good. The wings were hot, crispy and so delicious. Our entrees came out nice and hot. I must say I was satisfied thoroughly with the choices made because they were just as good reheated at home as they were at the restaurant. The dessert came out beautifully. I have to commend Ms. Ashley our server and Mr. D, the kitchen manager because the food was paced perfectly and they both ensured that we had everything we needed and that things were going smoothly. They have a nice bar with more than enough seating. Televisions all over so if there is a game you are looking for it's no problem. I was so pleased with the service I received from this business. Great place to take your family or friends out to eat even if you aren't celebrating. It may cost you a few more dollars but it's worth going and trying them out. Thank you all for a wonderful first-time visit.

-Moving my 1 star rating to 2 stars, because of the received certificate. (IT should not have taken that many contacts, but I will give them a second fair chance. I will report back later. ======================= Previous Review======== - After 4 attempts at getting the manager to "make it right", I have decided not to waste any more time with this establishment. Please read my information below as to why. Or better yet, avoid multiple disappointments by finding a place that actually does what they say what they will do. -------------------------------Previous Review ---------------------------------------- I really was not impressed. The initial impressions of this restaurant was quite nice and the menu reflected a lot of interesting choices. I decided on the Pork Osso Buco, a baked potato and broccoli. It turned out that the restaurant was out of baked potato, the particular beer that I wanted, and they had no broccoli at all. I should have had a clue at that point that things were not going to go so well. I asked if I could have the Cesar salad that normally is $.99 more, for the same price as the appetizers that were not available. (I was told - "sure"). It did take a full 30 minutes for my meal to be delivered. The pork was OK, but not spectacular, the salad was limp but at least the beer was cold and tasty. The French fries were very good. When I asked for my check, I noted I was double billed for the pork dish, and I was charged the $.99 extra for the salad that was supposed to be free. The bill seemed high and I requested an itemized bill that did not originally supplied. You should never have to ask for an itemized bill. I told the server about the double charges who said she would fix it. Five minutes later, the server had not returned so, I called for the manager and explained the situation. "No problem" I was told. A few minutes later I receive another receipt (again not itemized). I asked for the itemized receipt, once I received it from the manager, I noted that the Caesar salad was still listed, but the extra entree was finally removed. So, I felt with this level of incompetence, a zero dollar tip was warranted. This is the first time in over 10 years I have left nothing for a tip. I hope they do better than this if they want to keep customers, there are simply too many other choices out there for this to continue. Note: I did reply to the website in the follow on. However only 1200 characters are allowed. 60 words are not enough to describe the snafu's that occurred. (I suggest that Millers add for longer comments on their website). ------------------------------------------- After a few months I am compelled to now give this company a 1 star rating (or less). I had many email messages back and forth with the manager regarding the issue that I encountered. I was promised on many occasions by the manager that they would send me a gift certificate so that my wife and I could give them another chance to prove themselves. I am still waiting after no less than 3 promises of a gift certificate. So it appears that not only is this company highly disorganized, they appear to not have any intention on living up to their promises. My recommendation: Avoid this place and find some place that is honorable. - I have more information. After 4 attempts and promises of a gift certificate to make up for the bad experience, NO gift certificate has ever been delivered. In my opinion, people who tell you things that are not true repeatedly have serious issues. I know that I had issues with their services and promises. You might consider my experiences before you chose to go to this place or chain. I was told 4 times that they would "make it right". They have consistently proven that they like to make promises, but have yet to deliver on a single one.

This place is usually really good. They have a great Zinger mountain melt that my wife usually orders. I get the 35 shrimp a lot. It normally comes fried. Today I was actually disappointed. I asked for my 35 shrimp to be NOT fried and when they brought the food my order looked pitiful. I counted and there were 23 shrimp on the plate and the Coleslaw that comes with it was in a tiny container. It was about 2-3 bites worth of coleslaw. You can see the size of the coleslaw and shrimp relative to the fork size. And it's an average fork size. They are usually pretty good to give you about 35 shrimp with the order, but 23??? That's 12 less shrimp. That's 1/3 of the total order! That's just not right. Is it because I ordered it not fried so I got less? That doesn't make any sense either because you are not using fry batter to fry it so I am actually saving you product and money so why give me less shrimp? If anything I should get more shrimp because you aren't using batter. It just doesn't make any sense. But on a yummy note, their Captain Jack's Buried Treasure dessert is AMAZING! It's a definite must have when you visit Miller's Ale House! And this location sells it in ice cream pints(?) to go so you can enjoy it at home too! They got rid of Captain Jack's Nutty Brother a while ago which was also amazing... Hey Miller's, bring back the Nutty Brother!

I quit going to my local Ale House due to quality (even before covid) on vacation decided to try this one. Now know it's a company wide issue. Ordered zinger mountain melt. Came out burnt and so old there was no meat in the tenders it was dried out like it had been refried. The cheese was not melted. Sent it back and still got burnt but had a little juicier meat. Dissatisfied with 5 little tenders on a very large mountain of fries. Secondly I ordered sweet tea...he said he had to make it. When he brought it I knew something was wrong. It tasted straight like coffee. I told him he said they don't serve coffee.....I insisted someone taste it. He came back and said and employee used the machine to make her own personal coffee and another employee said people had been complaining all day about the coffee taste. Hmmmm...maybe check and clean the machine? Server was friendly about everything and they did give us $5.00 off the bill for the trouble 🙄

We drove in after a client meeting and we wanted to debrief with a quick lunch. Staff was quite friendly! However, they forgot us for a bit to take orders - but that was fine as we had time to talk without much disturbance! We picked what we wanted and were left alone again. Place was crowded on one side of the restaurant. But pretty empty where we were seated. There were plenty of options for drinks and beers - we did skip them as it was too early and had to go back to a client meeting. Definitely a place to visit if you are in this vicinity 👍
