We love donuts in our family—easily one of our top 5 favorite treats. We took our kids on a family bike ride to grab a dozen at this Daylight Donuts location and we were fairly pleased. Here are the reasons for the 4-star review. Let’s start with the good: the donuts tasted good to us. They had a large variety and a couple of donuts that I would say are more rare to find at certain donut shops (2 of those being a fruity pebbles sprinkled donut and a Oreo sprinkled donut). Their peach filled bear claw was fantastic! They had some seating available to eat some of your donuts before you head out and take the rest home. They also had a huge community board/wall which we loved—nothing like supporting the local people and companies that are nearby your business. They also serve BYU Creamery ice cream (although at the time of day we were there it did not look like they were serving it). Now for the improvements: I feel bad for the lady that was there boxing up donuts, it seems like she gets a bad rap on here but she was a bit grumpy. She actually yelled at my kids because they were standing on the benches and looking at the picture on the wall (to be fair my kids know better then to stand on benches, but it’s a donut shop for Pete’s sake—calm down donut lady). The shop itself was a bit dirty (just as many have mentioned) but we honestly didn’t care that much. Overall it didn’t have that incredibly warm-homey feeling you get when you go to a donut shop. Hopefully this describes the why behind the 4-star review. I will happily go back here—tasty donuts, great variety of items, slightly grumpy service with a need to tidy up, but overall a good experience. Thanks for filling our bellies with too much sugar!

Terrible experience and not the first time. I arrived today at around 6:15am as they say on google and their door they open at 6am and the place was closed and no sign of opening soon. They had the closed sign up and no donuts even started being put out. You would think they could put up a sign that they had different hours or something. I had to figure out and drive a ways to get my son some birthday donuts and it caused us to. It be able to get him his birthday donuts as he woke up as per our tradition. Note: the service had usually be lacking and workers rude and grumpy but I have dealt with that in the past for our family bday donut tradition. I would recommend any grocery store donut to avoid the service and unknown hours from this place.

So, I've driven by this place dozens of times, and I've always wanted to stop by Today was the day, and I'm pretty happy that I did drop in. It is a pretty small place, and it looked as if it was being run by a mother and her daughter, when I visited. They were very friendly, and I appreciate the items that I had the chance to purchase. One thing to know, this place makes donuts in the morning, and after they sell out, the store closes. When I dropped in, at 9:30, they were almost out. ... I say, you have to drop by, around 7:30 or 8:00, if you want a decent selection. The donuts were okay, not the best, but I'm still happy I got them. I was really happy with the little bag that you could get, with just donut holes.

There are days in your life that you will always remember, like yor wedding day or the birth of your children, my visit to daylights donuts on October 22nd 2016 will be among those memories. We had just hiked Horsetail Falls and we were driving into town famished. The time was 8:50am and we see a splendid little daylight donut. We have to stop out of obligation to the Donut gods. So we do so. We walk in expecting to get some fresh donuts, but then we notice boxes of day old donuts containing different assortments of a dozen donuts for only $4/box. Being the poor college students we are, we had to buy two boxes. I will say this about the donuts I consumed, considering how good the day old donuts are, I can't even fathom how good a real, day of donut tate like. You would making a mistake to not visit this daylights donut. Also home of the real daughter of Mr....
