I used to enjoy going to this Longwood, Florida location of Bonefish. However, the quality has gone down in the last few years. I decided to give it another try. I'll try to condense because the food was so bad I could write an entire article on each dish. The bang bang shrimp, that used to have a nice combination of flavors is now slathered in so much mayonnaise sauce that it's difficult to taste anything else. The halibut is served in a ridiculously salty soy sauce based sauce that is terrible for a delicate whitefish. It was also overcooked, so extremely dry. The salmon is consistently overcooked and, or swimming in overly heavy sauces. The broccoli is consistently mushy and has the flavor of those frozen broccoli and sauce pouches from the grocery store. The sautéed spinach has a ridiculous amount of fresh garlic and oil, so much that you could feel kind of queasy. I really enjoy a good meal and good service. I do not need a server to ask me where I went to college, however, it would have been nice to see her smile. I did not experience that. The brownie dessert had the consistency of adding gelatin to a fudge brownie. I suppose it was worth $50 at lunch to realize that the food here will not get better. Lastly, as stated before, my last meal at this location was an early lunch. There is absolutely no possibility that the women's bathroom was cleaned that day. And assuming that at least one of the female staff members had to have used the restroom that morning, they obviously did not care at all that customers would see this nightmare of restroom. It makes me wonder how sanitary my server could have been if she didn't mind the customers using this restroom. The person that apologized for my bad meal was so inappropriately dressed that I wondered what facility they were actually managing that day. I did pass a few employees on the way to the restroom, and from their demeanor, was glad to have the non smiling person as my server. I did take home some leftovers and can can honestly say they were greatly enjoyed. However my dog and cat are not independently wealthy so that is...
Read moreLet me start by saying we frequent this location often although the one on Lake Under Hill is closer. My husband and I are seated and he leaves for the restroom, but gives me his order and asked for me to order for him. Our waitress Alyssa arrives and I ordered the Fontina Pork Tenderloin (MEDIUM WELL) Wood-grilled ( but what he actually said he wanted was a bone in pork chop) with two sides asparagus and garlic herb potatoes for him and Steak (MEDIUM WELL) & Crab Cake with asparagus and Jasmin rice. When our food came my husband looked at it said that's not what he wanted, he wanted the bone in pork chop (MEDIUM WELL). Alyssa (very nice waitress) went to get the manager (Josh) he was extremely apologetic and was willing to take the food back and have the bone in pork chop made, my husband refused and ate his meal anyway, however the tenderloin wasn't MEDIUM WELL it was WELL DONE. My steak was WELL DONE and dry I didn't eat it I just ate the crab cake and the sides. I apologized to the waitress for the miscommunication apparently I ordered the wrong thing, and assured her that it was my fault because when I made the order I thought I was ordering the pork chop. At this time another manager (Matt) who we've seen several times before came to our table because he said he over heard the conversation in the back and he apologized as well, comped the meal, gave us two $25.00 gift cards and they made my husband the order we originally wanted. Matt, Josh and Alyssa went above and beyond to provide great customer service, I got emotional because although it was an honest mistake on my part they made the wrong, right, which they didn't have to do. I would have gladly paid for the meals as they prepared what I ordered. It's very rare in 2024 we could go anywhere and receive good customer service. Thank you Matt,...
Read moreMy sister has been telling me for years now to give this franchise a try... My one regret is that I waited that long to experience the most amazing seafood and delicious fish Bonefish Grill has to offer.
The way they prepare their dishes and sauces is so subtle and refined—each flavor perfectly balanced to create culinary magic on your palate.
We had the corn and crab chowder—absolutely 10 out of 10! Creamy, rich, with generous chunks of sweet crab.
The mussels were divine with that delicious sweetness from the reduced wine and that butter-herb-garlic sauce. I detected a hint of star anise or sambuca that brilliantly finished the sauce. Definitely 10 out of 10 with the perfect bread for soaking up every drop.
Fish and chips were light and crispy yet melted in your mouth—we savored every bite with their house-made tartar sauce that complemented it perfectly.
The Chef's Rockefeller fish was another standout at 10 out of 10. Perfectly cooked with a decadent topping that elevated the fresh fish.
The seared tuna was delicious too, though it couldn't quite stand above the extraordinary dishes I mentioned above.
Overall, we were incredibly impressed with the quality and freshness of everything served. Each dish showcased their commitment to exceptional seafood.
And our service was also 10 out of 10—attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly timed throughout our meal.
*We also ordered Kung Pao shrimp but we ate it all with the tartar sauce, Butter sauce so all I can say was they were perfectly cooked.
We will make the drive from Clermont to come back and...
