Cattleman's Cafe — Restaurant in Amarillo

Horrible horrible horrible...shame on the owner of cattlemans.. We lost our mother not even a couple months ago and had to move from our home and we live on the blvd temporarily..We don't like it here as much as anyone else but its home for a while till we find a place who likes dogs in our budget.. Hmmm so that gives her the right to judge?!?! Last time i checked this is america and money is still good anywhere!!! How dare you treat my husband like some filth at these hard times.. Guess what look in the mirror because lady youve shown your true colors and We know ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO EAT THERE THAT WILL STRAIGHT UP STOP BECAUSE OF YOUR HATEFUL JUDGING NEGATIVE SELF!! We are not bums we work for a living we arenet drug dealers we arent people to treat like we are beanethe you.. So let it be known I am going to amarillo globe news, facebook , and everyone else that you feel your so much better than to stand up against your prejudice no good butt and I hope you feel the shame you made others feel for no reason.Thanks for waisting our money and pride in you. The employees are everthing you could ever dream of as an old town famliy atmosphere and acting protective of all there customers take time to cook it just the way you would want it cook if you had it made at your own house . The owner has no problem helping her staff and is out in the middle waiting on you with out you even knowing the waitress smiling down at you sweet as she is , is one in the same. Great food , good people , home towm atmosphere all the best in one little café. Those of us that like to catch a pool game or drink a mix drink. The owner of the Cattlemans Bar right next door has a great cofortable not ruffneck but country for sure atmosphere with a dance floor pool tables and prettiest owner and girl staff that any man could ever need on a boys night out . Heck ... Come to think about the combo ...i e E....i change my answer to a 5 star combo .....v Cant miss this...

Went here for a late bday dinner for my husband. We wanted to eat in sat in non-smoking section, but the smoke was so bad in there is was coming to to our section then my asthma started acting up. So we ended up having to take out instead. He had the combination nachos with salad they DON'T use nacho cheese they use shredded cheese which was hard and he was unable to eat it, it was like glue! Mine and my son's food was not the best, but was edible. Chicken fried steak and huey burger. We were charged $.50 per to go container, then was charged $.50 each water we had, then charged $1 fee for use of a debit card. I know the cost of things has gone up, but at least make the food good and do something about the nasty cigarette smoke not everyone smokes or can be around smoke.
