I wanted to try the new chicken strips I had been seeing on TV. They were pretty tasty. Also ordered a fish sammich with Xtra tarter. They got the Xtra tarter correct, so that was delicious!
The person taking the order had a McAttitude. I asked for a #7 minus the drink... Thinking that was easier than itemizing what my wife wanted. Guess not, because the response to this was "so, NOT a number 7?, ok, so fries and 10 nuggets, what else?" So feeling a bit salty about the tone, I repeated, "right, a number 7 with no drink." She was a bit better after that with attitude, but still. Take my order. You KNEW what I meant, no reason to say anything at all. Especially RUDE.
So, we roll up and the guy that handed the food was nice. We checked the bag, as you do, and they didn't give us the sauces we ordered. Humans make mistakes, no big. I take my receipt in and tell them we didn't get our sauce. The woman apologizes and gets the sauce. I was fine till she said "he said your sauce is in the bottom of the bag, but it's no problem, we'll give you more"
I said, "nope, checked the whole bag, no sauce, thanks". They were pretty insistent about making me look wrong.
Once again, totally unnecessary comments. Just apologize, gimme my sauce and stop flappin' lips! You work in customer service. Control yourself. None of this would have been a big deal had the staff checked their attitudes. In fact, getting your order wrong or forgetting something, or having soggy crap fries and what not is pretty expected nowadays anyway.
Furthermore, it was a drive through order... Why would I park, go in, and ask for what's missing without checking the whole bag... I DID check the bag when I got to the truck, just in case I made a mistake... But nope .. 2 packs of ketchup in the bottom of the bag. That's it.
Anyway, I try to be honest and positive in reviews, so this is it. Throwing this out here in hopes that maybe people will be more self aware and improve the manner in which you treat...
Read moreThis place is a joke. I ordered through the drive thru and that in itself was challenging. Finally got my order in and drive around to pay the girl opens the window, gives me my total, takes my card and shuts the window in my face. When she gave me my card back she didn't say a word, just continued to talk to the person around the corner. I pull forward and the lady at the window hands me the 3 drinks we had orders covered in dr pepper. She didn't offer straws or anything. She just shut the window in my face. Then she opens the window and, in broken English, asks me to pull forward because we were waiting for fresh fries and slams the window back in my face. Then we wait for another 10 minutes and we finally get our food. The girl that brought out our food was a young girl and was very apologetic for how rude her co-worker was to us. We asked her for straws and she quickly retrieved them for us. I made the 20 minute drive back to my house to only to find out the sandwich I ordered was in fact not what I ordered. Due to how far I'd have to drive I attempted to get the sandwich. The grilled chicken was old and was hard to chew. The lettuce was dark almost black in color and the tomato looked gross too. Well my wife, being the nicer person, gives them a call and ended up going and speaking to the "Manger" on duty. You would think that if McDonalds was concerned about the future of their company they would step in and handle this before it goes much farther. These so called managers need to be trained as a manager not just given a name tag and a set of keys and let go. Honestly it seems like an issue every time we go there. These people couldn't get an order right to save their life. Do yourself a favor and go to...
Read moreThe incompetence at this location is astonishing. How they keep the lights on is beyond me. I only went there because the line at Whataburger was very long. Mind you, this location is closed for dine-in (why?) so that should mean the drive-thru would be easy to keep straight, right? I was the fifth car in line. All four cars in front of me were waiting in parking spots. No food coming out. Again, why? No cars came in behind me for a good 10 minutes. 20 minutes after ordering, my food finally came out. Of course, I inquired what was going on in there, only to hear that peoples’ orders are coming out wrong and they are making a big deal out of it. Well, people are giving you money in exchange for a service. They expect to get what they ordered and paid for. I said no food has come out in 20 minutes, and asked how can orders be wrong? Blank stare from high-school kid. Gross incompetence coupled with gross food reinforced why I only eat McDonalds if there are no other options or have lost a bet. Should have gone to Whataburger. McDonald’s will never get another...
