I live about three blocks from here and dearly wish this place served hot food. Unfortunately, I cannot say that. Every time I make an order, I ask for fresh cooked tator tots and burger. 8 out of 10 times that tots come out luke warm (not fresh like requested) and the cheese is COLD, so, the lazy cook couldn't even bother to melt it on the burger.
I've worked at two Sonics before while in college. And, this establishment (much like the one on Georgia) does not follow the company standards and regulations set forth my the company. Otherwise, cold/luke warm and soggy tots would/could not happen. And, the cold cheese on burgers is nothing but pure laziness (e.g., par cook the burger meat and just throw the cheese on, as opposed to either cooking the meat fresh and/or at least melting the cheese on the meat).
This place sucks!

Read moreNormally only visit this location, but the last few times I have been they NEVER give you time to review your order or ask if it’s ok before pushing it to the payment screen. (Four times out of the last Five times I’ve been here). Today I ordered, looked up after the last item to barely have time to catch a very wrong ring up ($12 combo In addition to what I ordered, when I only ordered three items and a drink). Pushed the button again, they came outside and asked what was wrong, go back inside and wipe off HALF my order instead of just that item, never asked if it was correct and then push it back to payment. Read moreFirst let me start by saying that I’ve worked at multiple fast food restaurants in the past, Sonic included. I only say this because I get it, it’s a stressful job.
But I have not had a good experience at this location within the countless times I’ve gone.
The speakers hardly work, and you practically have to yell to communicate. And I can’t even count how many times I’ve pulled into a stall with a microphone that didn’t work at all, resulting in an employee having to come out and take my order.
At first I thought that the carhops weren’t trained properly, but I heard a carhop complaining very loudly about the management, and how one of the managers were being rude.
