Ming Garden — Restaurant in Americus

Today 10/11/21, I bought the General Tso’s Chicken and Fried Cheese Wontons. The wontons are one of my favorite items, and I always get them with a meal. Today, they were not so great. The crunchy texture of the wontons were off. They were more chewy/rubbery like. I ended up trashing half the container of wontons. Almost immediately afterwards, I became extremely ill to my stomach for a while. I later trashed half of the chicken meal that was left, because I was afraid to finish it. Me and my wife was trying this place for the first time today and it was so delicious!! I had ordered the 4 seasons dish and they were able to make it spicy upon my request (awesome!) My wife had ordered the Singaporean rice noodles and she was allowed to substitute out the standard shrimp and pork for chicken instead. The flavor of both dishes was so good and they packed the container so full of food, we were able to eat it on multiple occasions through out the day. I'm here from Tennessee for my job, have to eat fast food and take out daily. I have found that Americus has the worst fast food I've ever came across and I travel often. So it comes with absolute shock when I gave this place 5 stars. But they really earned every star. They are super friendly, never mess up my order ( I eat here at least once per week now), always hot delicious food. Every time I'm here this will be a definite go to! Love this place.
