Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Americus

The food was good and the service was quick just like every other Chick-fil-A in the world. I've gone to several Chick-fil-As over the course of my life time and this is the only one that would refuse to make lunch items when serving breakfast. I know that sounds like a petty complaint but when the kids menu is displayed with the breakfast menu and the only thing that my kid will eat from here is the grilled nuggets which is apparently only a lunch item, then it turns breakfast into a hassle. I ordered through the drive thru at 10:26 and they stop serving breakfast at 10:30 and was rudely told I can't order grilled nuggets from the kids menu. I didn't get out of the drive thru until 10:33, and they refused to make them even though they are displayed directly in the very center of the menu at all times of the day. Now I have to make a second pass through the drive thru to get my kids nuggets bc this location won't do what every other location does already. I've never had anybody even suggest that they wouldn't serve a lunch item during breakfast or any issues at all except for this location, every other Chick-fil-A in the world knows that not all customers are the same, why don't they? You either need to make it a company policy to quit doing this for customers during breakfast and lose our business during breakfast or standardize that it is ok for customers to make special request when ordereding their food, because having to go thru the drive thru twice makes me not want to come here at all when I could have just went somewhere else and only had to go through the line once and saved tine...

This restaurant is located on the northwest corner of SR 580 and May St. We did the dine-in option and did not try the drive through portion on this visit. I would give all five stars but this morning I ran into the first rude drive through woman that I've ever encountered at any Chick-fil-A location. I don't remember her name but instead of saying 'my pleasure' or saying anything nice at all, all I got was 'mhm' or 'yeah'. Don't get me wrong, Chick-fil-A food is amazing and I have nothing bad to say about the food and generally nothing bad to say about the service but to also completely walk off and let my food sit on the counter and having someone else instead of my server bring me my food, is a little ridiculous.
