Last night was the first time I'd been there in about 8 years. My buddy and I went out for a few drinks and we had always liked the Cedar pub, which is still cash only. I asked what was on tap and the woman made a face and pointed without saying anything. I ordered a dortmunder on tap and immediately could taste it was flat. It was really bad and it took a long time to get the bartender's attention. I politely explained to her the beer was flat and she made a face and said "Well that's funny people have ordered it all day and no one has complained". The bartender had long black hair, she was Caucasian, but used a tanning bed quite a bit. Aweful attitude. Also, my buddy's fat tire tasted funny from the keg, but he didn't want to...
Read moreOn its surface, this place has the potential to be a great spot to grab a drink and play pool. Unfortunately though, not all are welcome here. I’ll let you decipher that one. We continued to experience racism from the bartender as well as the patrons at the bar until we decided it was better just to leave. Other places deserve your money in Amherst. This isn’t the...
