Rio Vista Inn — Restaurant in Anaheim

Been here a few times, as it was the go to chill bar back in the days. Place always has crazy stories to tell when you come here and thats what makes it epic. Recently came after a a year or so but they still have the same staff, cook, and prices.

Venue - Place was kinda ran down, but just recently got a remodel done and it's looking much nicer and brighter. They also have a karaoke section thats pretty cool.

Service - Can be a lil slow on busy nights but overall great service.

Food - The cook here is amazing he can put some delicious plates together, doesn't matter what it is he makes everything great.

Drinks - Great pours and good drink selection.

Prices - Great prices that don't hurt the wallet compared to overpriced fancy joints.

Parking - Lots of parking available on street or in the complex parking lot.

Went here for the first time last night with a work “friend” for some after-work fun. At first, it seemed a little dodgy, but Norma (bartender and possibly owner?) was very nice and provided good service and was very welcoming and even remembered our names! The regulars were nice as well, engaged in some playful conversation but also didn’t try to hijack the night and become BFFFs. The food we got was good, not blow-my-mind good, but no complaints either. I’m told they make almost everything from scratch to order, so that’s always a bonus. Beer selection could use some upgrading, only a few taps and nothing that caught my attention, but my Tito’s and tonic was made perfectly strong :)

I live walking distance from this place so i decided to come for my birthday on their taco Tuesday night. The first time, I was here, it was alright. Service took a while even though it wasn't busy but afterwards we were served and it was all good especially the food! Second time, absolutely terrible! No service. Non existent. Came hungry left hungry. The bartender/waitress verified the complaints I had previously read on yelp and Google. Never coming back again just because the service is that bad, If you're reading this don't come here, period.
