This is a COVID era review. All protocols were in place. Mio's has a delicious stuffed pizza that you don't want to miss. The crust is fantastic--sturdy and crispy. The sauce is tangy and not overwhelming. The ingredients we had were in perfect proportion. They make it Chicago style, with the sauce on top. The cheese is stretchy and firm. Our server Bryan was efficient and had a good personality. He was attentive and prompt. Mio's has a micro brewery, and offers several local faves. I'm not a craft beer guy, but I posted a pic of the titles for that day. They seem playful and exotic, and I'm sure they offer the craft beer enthusiast some memorable indulgences. There was plenty of parking, and Bryan happily shared the wifi password. I counted six TVs that had college football games on. The restaurant is the only eatery at an intersection with a gas station convenience store and a drug store, so I hope it enjoys for a long time to come it's status as the only place for a few blocks to eat. They deserve it, and they deserve for you to drop in and get some really good pizza. UPDATE: We are regulars here now. We love to take our little dog to the outdoor seating in nice weather. There are two outdoor areas, one covered by the dining area and one open area with picnic tables by the bar area.

Goodbye Mios, Anderson, thanks for ruining my lunch. A simple small pizza with 4 vegetable toppings for $14.00 is like a smack in the face. The actual veggie pizza on the menu is only $12 and has more toppings. Hello, Hometown, LaRosa’s, they never fail to deliver and it was only $10.50, without me making any special requests! By the way, the other customer who picked up her $21. Medium pizza was no happier than I. Will they decide they want to keep customers or just rake in more profits so they can retire? We shall see. In the meantime, although I had to go through the extra effort of leaving and going to order a fresh pizza at LaRosa’s, it was worth it.

This place was very good. One of my favorite things was that for the kids they had a paper table cover they could draw on with crayons. The staff was very friendly and our server was very attentive. We got a cheese deep dish, a sausage deep dish, some pepperoni French bread pizza for my son and lasagna with garlic bread for my daughters friend. All of it was very good but the sausage deep dish was out of this world. We spent about $75 plus tip on it. The price is the only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars but it is worth it to go here every now and then. I'll definitely be back.

We tried this restaurant after my child's volleyball game on a Saturday night. It was before the dinner crowd came in and we were seated in an area where no one else was seated. After we ordered our drinks and appetizer (cheesy garlic bread) another family with several children were seated in our section. Our appetizer came out pretty quickly and we devoured it! We ordered 2 6" pizzas ( Windy City and Spinach and Mushroom) and a chicken fingers with French fries kid's meal. After about 45 minutes, our food still had not arrived(?). My child was beginning to complain about being "Soooo....hungry!!" I was also beginning to wonder where our food was...especially when the other family in our section already got their food and had come in a good 15 minutes AFTER us! This really upset our child and we explained that they probably ordered food easier to cook. The waiter came over to inform us that they were still making the Chicago style pizza..we had been hungrily waiting for one hour at this point. We were polite and did not ask about our food and we patiently waited while making jokes about the chef burning our pizzas. After OVER ONE HOUR of waiting, the waiter came with the chicken fingers and the Spinach & Mushroom pizza but not the Windy City. Apparently, the Windy City pizza had gotten stuck in the oven and burned(!?). The waiter apologized and said it would be right up and not to worry because they would cover the cost of the Windy City. My child and I ate while my poor husband looked on. The chicken finger kid meal was delicious and our child shared it with Dad. My Spinach & Mushroom pizza had no spinach and was very well done (all the toppings were on the edge of being burnt). The Windy City pizza came after waiting about 1 Hour and 15 minutes!!! When the bill came, my poor husband's pizza was only 40% off-- not completely covered as the waiter said (???!??). Why tell a customer after you burn his pizza and make him wait 1 hour and 15 minutes to eat that you will cover his pizza and then charge us 40%!! Our first and LAST time to eat here. Dishonest and even missing ingredients on a specialty pizza. I ordered a Spinach and Cheese specialty pizza....it was served minus spinach (???). Not a...

Usually have good food but tonight it was AWFUL! 3 of the 4 pizzas we sent back to be remade: My 86 year old mother’s pizza had black , burned bacon (when she mentioned it to the waitress, she said, “Why don’t you try it first and see if it’s ok?”) My two sisters’ 8 inch pizza Blanca had a huge crust ring with a 3 inch diameter circle of cheese; the rest was crust. When we asked the waitress about the cause of this sub-par food, she replied, “It depends on who is in the kitchen”. My pizza Blanca was acceptable. We waited over 20 minutes to have the three pizzas remade. When they arrived, my mother’s pizza had the bacon under the cheese, but had a black crust. The two pizza blancas had a bit more cheese, but also black crusts. (We suspect that all three returned pizzas were simply “fixed”...burnt bacon hidden, and additional cheese added to the other pizza Blancas, then “re-fired” which would OF COURSE result in burnt crusts!!!! We refused these re-run pizzas and asked to see the manager. She came to our table after several minutes, trying to convince us to try again, then taking care of the check. She gave us each a ten dollar gift card, which I gave away. Too bad, Mio’s...I loved your sesame crust. I won’t go to a restaurant where such inconsistent food preparation is deemed acceptable by wait staff and not noticed by management. That food should never have been served to customers. My dogs would have enjoyed...

In June my dad and I drove to this somewhat out of the way Mio's for my niece's 4th birthday party. My brother chose this location as it is close to a nearby city park with a popular water park. The first problem was finding the place. My Google driving directions took me past here 4 times until my concerned brother called to get us there. The one street sign is tan with smallish white letters and difficult to see. The sign on the restaurant is also small and not close to the street. Relieved to finally get to there I saw a party area in the right corner of the building with seating on the right and 2 tables. With decorations taped to the wall and room for the presents and large pizzas the space was adequate. Most of us ordered pizza. The server was friendly and she checked on us regularly for bar drinks and to refill our water. My criticism is about the pizza. It was all thin crust with a 2 or more inch crust ring on all pizzas. No sauce, cheese or toppings. One of the better pizzas had a barbecue sauce with meat and vegetable toppings but the sauce was unevenly distributed. The one pizza without sauce I tried had the same crust ring and less cheese. The vegetables gave it little flavor and the crust was hard and tasteless. At $17.99 for large pizzas this is not a good deal! I hope other locations are better but I can not...
