Please clean off all of the dead bugs from under the blinds on all the windowsills in the bar dining area! Not very appetizing to look at while you are waiting on food to arrive. Went with a party of three to have lunch on 9/25/24. We ordered a shrimp entree which arrived fairly quickly. It didn't take us long to finish that off. Flavor was decent. We then waited and waited and patiently waited for our main lunch to arrive. We all kept wondering what was taking so long. After waiting 55 minutes for our lunch to arrive one of the patrons in our party actually went tracked down our waitress to find out what was taking so long for our food to arrive. It was nothing complex. Two fish taco lunches and one chicken wrap. She finally brought our food out to our table after our more than a 55 minute wait and explained to us that a party of 30 came in and that delayed everything. Okay, so why is that our fault? They should have requested reservations for a group of that size, or if the kitchen staff wasn't equipped to handle the extra guests than there should be enough help on staff in kitchen for that kind of fluctuation to still be able to handle the other guests to avoid such long delays in service. No apologies from the waitress. Nothing taken off of our almost $80 bill after tip. Ice waters went unfilled when empty. Just an all around poor experience from a restaurant that we...

Dined with a party of four after our daughters graduation ceremony from Ball St University. We were seated in the bar by choice and there was one other table of two people. It was around 1 o'clock in the afternoon. We ordered drinks and an appetizer which was very nice. We ordered four meals and received our food after two other parties came in and received their food. Some of the food was cold and we asked it to be warmed or replaced. Five minutes later it was replaced. We ordered a dessert and waited over 20 minutes after finishing the main meal for a slice of cheesecake that never arrived. Our server then ignored us when we just wanted to get to-go containers and pay the bill. I took the bill to the front entrance and paid there. The food was actually good but to be waiting while other groups were served was frustrating and when it did arrive some of it was cold. While I know some places are still struggling to get staffing to pre pandemic levels this restaurant had four people on the wait staff and 5-6 in the kitchen. We know this because we heard them talking and joking while we were waiting. When I paid the bill the restaurant was empty. May try it again after some time hoping for better management...

I didn't think the Sysco menu could get worse, but 1925 found a way. The wings were greasy, tough, and fried too long and too low a temperature. The ranch was watery and sweeter than the mixed drinks. The butter-soaked bun on the overcooked burger made it bareable. The food quality is somewhere between a Waffle House and an Applebee's. The floors near the kitchen entrance were greasy and stained. The tiles portion has a "wet floor" sign and the carpet potion was saturated with oil. I felt like I needed nonslip shoes just to go the bathroom. The building was in really bad shape and doesn't match the "vibe" the website is trying to establish. The staff was doing their best under the circumstances. They were forward from the start that the AC was broken, the kitchen was backed up, and the wait would be long. The front of house service was good. The mixed drinks were good and the selection was promising.

I'd only recommend going here if you want all the quality of a shifty dive bar with slightly more daylight and a better selection of wine...

A friend and I went here for lunch yesterday, and to watch the Ohio State game. They accommodated us by sitting us directly by the TV in the bar, and turning on the game. Between us we ordered two appetizers (mozzarella sticks and loaded potato skins), a tenderloin and fries, and a 12 inch pizza. The appetizers were standard fare. The tenderloin is probably one of the best I've ever eaten, and the fries accompanying it were excellent, as well. The thin crust pizza is top notch! I can't say enough about the crust, absolutely perfect! There is also an excellent bar selection, and the location is lovely. I can't wait to go back during warmer weather to dine on the patio. The staff was WONDERFUL, very attentive and friendly without being overbearing.

It was very good. The appetizers were tatoskins which were pretty good, and nachos, which were great! The salads were very good and I enjoyed the house vinaigrette. The burgers and chicken wrap were both delicious, as well as the Alfredo. The only gripe was, if you are charging $45 for a 12oz ribeye (which I don't mind in principle), then it is inexcusable for it to not be cooked to the ordered specification. It was medium - medium well (not medium rare). Now, it was good, because ribeye is such a malleable cut of meat, but still... On the plus side, they did have Blanton's bourbon, which was great with the steak. All in all, we will definitely return, I'll just avoid steaks next time.
