Hide Away Inn — Restaurant in Anderson

Had to make an appearance for the billiards team to keep score. Not a big fan of this bar in particular... but.... My food, and my teammate's food.... ON POINT. Sherry was attentive, despite the "local" crowd. I appreciate that. Had to go outside to get a breather away from the smoke twice... BUT... I was a smoker once so I can appreciate both sides of that argument. Probably NOT the BEST bar for out of towners, but if you are a low key bunch wanting greasy bar food and a semi competitive game of pool... this would...

This is a small local bar. I've been here two or three weekends now and this is the only bar I've ever heard of that does last call on a Saturday night just after midnight. The staff attentiveness is hit-or-miss some nights they are great, other nights they try and shut down the bar lights even when people are coming in. It's not a terrible bar, just...

Great little spot, I went with some friends on a Wednesday after work. They had a really good band playing old school Honkey Tonk, rock n roll, and blues from 6:30-9:30. Good bar food, good service, reasonable prices. We found out the same band is there every Wednesday, we may just become Wednesday...
