Charlie Boy's Bbq & Seafood — Restaurant in Anderson

First, I walk in and no one out of the 3 people at counter acknowledged me nor greeted me. The cashier only advised how should I pay and prompted me to use POS, never greeted me in any kind of way, The food was ready when I got there, but I still had to wait. I told them I'm picking up my chicken wing dinner with potato salad and greens, but instead got nasty Mac n cheese. When I told them about my order was wrong they gave me 2 small condiment-like portions of the potato salad. Then had the nerve to say "you welcome" as they weren't pleased with my no thank you attitude. It's all about customer service and satisfaction. This is why it's so hard to support black businesses-they pick and choose who to be courteous to. No reason to complain to them I'll just tell my story/experience on reviews as needed. My wife and I are new to the area. We have tried a couple of BBQ joints in the area and haven't been real impressed. We decided to try Charlie's out, and were amazed by our experience here. We showed up at opening time on a Sunday morning. We ordered our food, a variety of a little of everything. While our food was being prepared, I had the pleasure of chatting with Charlie Boy himself! My husband and I just found this to place since our usual bbq joint is closed on Tuesdays. They were very polite and greeted us as soon as we opened the door. Food was packed and ready to go when we arrived. The ribs were excellent and came bright off the bone.
