King Gyros — Restaurant in Anderson

Food was terrible. I ask them for a Italian beef combo that includes the Italian sausage. I repeated my order 2 times at the window. The wait was about 15 minutes in line due to another car in front of me. Which they could have pulled them up. Anyway when I got to the window the girl didn't know what I had ordered. She repeated my order to me after I told her what I had. The whole process was unorganized and terrible. But when I got home I found out my order wasn't right. The Italian beef tasted like the just dumped it in the juice. There was no flavor at all and the Italian sausage wasn't there. Been a customer 25 years. Only compaint--They close whenever they want, not adhering to posted hours. Called at 8:30 specifically to verify open til 9. Yes was answer. I said I will call back in 5 minutes with order. Called back, no answer. Called several times. My son was there to pick up. I told him so he entered the non locked door and was refused service. This is at 8:45. It's a ten minute order, we get same thing every time. Really screwed us as car broken down and we can walk there in 4 minutes. So had to order pizza. The gyro platter is incredible and by far the best deal on the menu. You'll want to ask for double cucumber dressing... extra tomatoes and 3 more pita breads... or if getting to go, have tomatoes and bread on hand at home!
