On Broadway — Restaurant in Anderson

Visited on 2/8/17 at 6:30 for dinner and drinks. Service was horrible and bartender/waitress was rude. I was there with two family members. Bar sitting was full and about 4 tables. Two tables of the four were finishing up there dinner. We sat at table for no less than 30 minutes with no acknowledgement from bartender as she continued to serve drinks at bar and chat with customers. I did get eye contact from bartender but that was it. There was also another table of 4 people that also continued to wait patiently. After waiting for about 45 minutes now I approached the bar to at least order our drinks. The bartender watched me walk up to the bar. At that time she started walking out behind the bar I asked if I could order drinks. Bartender response to me was "Sorry sweetie I have a table in front of you" and walked right on pass me to go to the other table right next to us. She took their drink and food order. Brought them drinks, then briefly chatted with other customers at the bar. Then walked to the other side of bar to a table where they were finishing up their meal. Bartender returned to behind the bar and checked on customers at the bar. Then just stood there. As we got up to just leave the bartender looked at me and smiled and said...

that was a five-star tenderloin all the way. very old school in that the tenderloin was twice the size of the bun, but new school in that the tenderloin was thick and juicy with a light crispy crust with just the right amount of seasoning. we've been to 10 different tenderloin places in Anderson and this is now our favorite. the tenderloin was so big that one was enough for two hungry people. the fries were also excellent, thin, potatoey, with a bit of crisp. they wrapped are to go order in foil which we can recycle. the only downside is it's smokey the even with a carry-out order we need to wash our hair...

Great prime rib dinners at reasonable prices. I think the prime rib is as good as Don Halls in Fort Wayne and that says alot. The loaded twiced baked potato on the side is also good. Looking foward to trying other items on menu as well as I have been told alot of it is good also. Only thing that prevents me from giving a five star review and maybe trying a desert is the cigarette smoke. Granted it is also a bar, but some money spent on a ventilation system would help alot and also potentially draw in more regular customers that...
