Had a group of 5 today; all of us first timers and it was about 1pm and not busy. Our hostess seemed to be having a bad day and came across very rude; gave her some grace and was seated. Our waiter came out and was not friendly whatsoever; took our drink orders……several minutes past……..and finally to our food order. Food came out warm/cold and took quite awhile to get; waiter was no where to be seen, had to constantly ask for drink refills. He was more worried about the group behind us as they had ordered plenty of alcohol and had a larger group….:-/ Got one refill on chips; no salsa. Cheese dip was cold. Absolute terrible 1st time experience. The food; even though warm/cold…..(fajitas are to be sizzling, and were NOT) was flavorful and to be desired. We all were in disbelief; as this place had been highly recommended. We are willing to come back and try again but will give them some time to regroup and be more upbeat and friendly. Not slamming the place; just giving and honest review in hopes that they will improve on their customer relations. Hopefully they all were just having an off day. Gave 3 stars only because the food was flavorful and the restaurant...

We were invited out by friends to this restaurant, they apparently love it, but I think differently.

We were seated immediately on a Saturday lunch time. Started off with no Coke Zero, I'm not a fan of sugar or Diet Coke and I'm not sure why Zero hasn't taken off in the US, sure it's not the restaurant's fault for not having it.

The menu was average, but nothing special, I have been to a couple of Indiana Mexican places recently and been blown away by the choice. This wasn't that. Standard menu choices. Even the chips and salsa weren't that great (usually I can plow through a basket).

I had the Chimichangas Cuatas, which was cooked fine and tasted okay, but again, I've had better recently in the same town, same with my partner's fajita.

Because we met friends, there was a lot of talking and we stayed way past finishing eating, and we felt like we weren't welcome.

Overall, there was nothing outstanding but nothing to complain about and the overall vibe would direct me somewhere else...

I have not been to a Mexican restaurant in a long time. I am one of those so-called racist white guys who hate everybody but white people. That's what I'm told. Anyway, I try to love all people like God intended. There's only one race, the human race. I don't feel like there should be starving. People, nowhere. There is enough resources that everyone could have something to eat. We as Americans don't need quadruple cheeseburgers. Every day we could share the wealth. But the service at this Mexican restaurant, it was so great. I had to leave a 5 star review every time I go in there. They all team up like every restaurant should and get me In-N-Out. As fast as they can. I wish Americans would team up and act a little more Mexican now. If I could just change the music and mcdonald's to american music while in a mexican restaurant, you should listen to mexican music. You are in their...

If you want good Mexican, this is the place in Anderson. Nothing fancy from the outside, but the food is excellent. Used to be a bike shop, I think, or something similar. Now, a cozy place with great food. I was raised in L.A. and I know good Mexican. Plenty of parking nearby at night in businesses's parking lots and they aren't open so they don't care. Walking distance to the Mainstage Theater, which you should visit for the wonderful productions with good local talent. Walking distance to other downtown venues, like the Paramount. Go there. Trust me. The picture is the top shelf Margarita, which is filled with citrus. Very smooth, very potent. Numerous sizes for everybody. UPDATE 2023: Still going there, still great, still highly recommended, still great margaritas.

Seriously love this place. Best "authentic" Mexican food in Anderson!!! The Camaronnes El Diablo is the beat I've had thus far.... of all the places I've eaten. Their service is always great. They have great traditional margaritas. Today I ate something different, I ordered the El Presidente. It was very good!!! The Chile relleno was PERFECT!!!! Overall just a great place to eat!!!

For Indiana, the street tacos aren't bad. I liked the ground steak for the Carna Asada. The starter salsa and chips are delicious! They warm the chips and the salsa has a nice flavour. My parents love to come here when we visit our home town. We sure hope you guys are able to keep your lil slice of Mexican food open for years to come! ♥️🇲🇽♥️ Viva La Mexico!
