Worst Chili's ever in Andover Massachusetts We arrived 3/17 Thursday nite and were starving we arrived at approx 10:45pm and were aware they closed at 11pm and we were told that they closed at 11pm so I requested a Togo order and we were then told that the kitchen was closed. So we had to leave hungry and had to try and find food else where. So I said ok, i will try them again so I visited again for.lunch on 03/18/22. And I was standing at podium waiting for seating where there was no hostess and the lady that approached me asked me if I was "set" I was confused so I told her I was confused. She said well some have Togo orders etc. I said No maam I am here to dine in. So she grabbed a menu and "with attitude" took me to a table. Where I was eventually greeted (also not very friendly at all, i asked for sweet tea (she said we dont have sweet tea (in a short attitude kindve way) so i requested tea with sugar.. she seemed bothered by something and kept returning to a booth where she had a drink at thru out my visit... I love Chili's food but thos entire store needs to ne trained by Chick-fil-A Corp... not a Mgr in site either times. I did see someone that may have been a Mgr due to he actually had on a Chili's uniform shirt (unlike servers in faded t-shirts and old jeans) come on Chili's shape this store up, they making you look bad (oh update, before time to leave the waitress actually seemed a tad more courteous, possibly for a better tip) I felt bad but tip starts from the moment you greet me!! Note to ALL servers even on your bad days be kind to your customers they are your real paycheck js Sorry to Chili's for the bad review but this was just so...

The food was amazing as always, but I had a horrible experience with one of the waitresses. My older sister and I paid separately — she left a tip, and I paid $100 using my uncle’s card, as he told me not to spend more than that. I even explained this to the waitress. There was $8 left, which I paid in cash.
As my cousins and I were leaving, the waitress stopped us in front of other customers and demanded that I add a tip to the card. I told her the card wasn’t mine, but she kept insisting I pay more. My cousins are all minors, and we all felt extremely uncomfortable and pressured. I ended up giving her my gas money just so we could leave.
What made it worse was that all she did was take our order — another staff member brought our food and handled the refills. I’ve worked in customer service and in the food industry myself, and I understand how hard the job can be, but I have never threatened a customer or refused to let them leave over a tip. That kind of behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional.
This happened on October 30th, about two hours before closing. The waitress was around 5’2” with tattoos on her arms. I’ve always loved coming to this Chili’s, but this experience left me embarrassed, disappointed, and honestly a little shaken. I hope management addresses this so no one else feels threatened while...
Read moreFood was good but the service was way off. No one to great us when we came in and we stood at the podium for about 5 minutes before someone came over after I stared at one of the servers hanging out near the rear of the restaurant by the bar (I knew service would follow suite at this point)... Waited 8 minutes before a server came over and took our drink order once seated. No refills offered to anyone during our meal and no one checked on us to see how everything was during our meal... My steak was brought out 10 min after everyone else was served with no explanation before or apology after... Ordered dessert "To go" and it was brought out on plates, then it took 20 min for them to package up the desserts and bring them back out. Both cheesecakes where missing the toppings which we did not discover until after we departed. We watched one table come in and leave after experience the same issues of no one coming to wait the table. We would have left as well however we are traveling cross country and are staying at the hotel next door. We vowed never to return to the Chilis where we live in Tx do to the same exact issues... Looks like this Chilis has sealed the deal nation wide for us... Poor service with plenty of staff hiding in the back with only 10 or so tables filled. My 13 year old could run this better... So sad. never getting my money again...
