My recent visit led me to leave a review. While the food is usually not bad, this time it was horrible. First off, after we had placed our order, the strawberry milkshake I ordered was not fresh. The employee picked up the cup that was already made on the side of the machine, looked at it and asked me if it was OK? I asked what do you mean is it OK? She asked if it was OK to give me the cup with barely any strawberry mix and the rest with the vanilla milkshake, otherwise she would have to replace the strawberry mix bag because it was out. I told her no, it's not OK, and she needs to replace the bag and make a fresh one.
So 20 minutes later we finally received our meal which was 2 mighty kids meal, a big Mac and double cheese burger meal. The fries were old and cold the big Mac was tasteless and dry. I brought all the fries up and had them replaced, I dealt with the big Mac because I didn't want to wait any longer to eat and after all that, I then received the milk shake. Seriously?? It took them 25 minutes to replace the bag?
You may be thinking it was during rush hour, but it wasn't. It was 9 pm on a Sunday night and we were the only customers at the time.
I understand that in the fast food industry you will get alot of high school kids at these kinds of establishment, but when you have an employee screaming and making noise in the back while enabling the rest of the staff and a cashier up front who doesn't know how to properly switch out the mix bag for the milkshake machine, there is much training that needs to take place, a lot of it.
Over the past few years it seems that the place is going downhill with the kind of staff they are employing. My orders are consistently being incorrect or missing either half or most of my meals. The toy in my nephews and my daughters happy meal usually aren't there and I consistently have to remind them and that can get tiring. When a child gets a happy meal, doesn't see their toy and you see the sad and confused look on their face, its hurts and its a look you don't want to see.
A job is a job, not a playground. there is always time to have fun, but when you are representing the place where you work, this is very unprofessional.
Thanks...
Read moreSo, this is really fricking disgusting. Today I ordered the deluxe big breakfast meal and I started eating my pancakes. Then I was swallowing part of it and put more in my mouth when I realized that the pancakes that I was in the middle of swallowing had a long frickin hair in them. I frantically tried to grab the end of the hair that was still in my mouth that was attached to the pancakes that I was already in the middle of swallowing and tried to pull it out. Only a small end of the hair broke off so I tried to induce vomiting instead, it didn't come up. This is fricking nasty. Who knows what personal hygiene that person had and it was under my top pancake hidden from plain sight. It was so awful feeling that hair go down my throat and I couldn't stop it. My hair was tied back and this hair was under the pancake top layer from the start. I am so disgusted. I had a different issue in the past here when I ordered. The worker kept having me repeat my order then, I waited forever to get my food and I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund as I had been waiting so long and was still waiting, and the customer service sucked but it was too hard to go in because my dog was loose in the car. The worker came out after making me wait forever and then asked me again for probably the fifth time what I ordered again. I went home, called the manager and he took down my address to send me something for my trouble and never did. I used to think highly of this establishment when it first opened but now it's awful. With the horrible service, slowness, and now that nasty hair, I'm done. I only went there as it's closest to my house but not again. I will go somewhere else completely. I will say that the lady today that handed me my food was really nice but that doesn't save my...
Read moreIf nothing else, go there for their soft-serve vanilla (only flavor available) "ice cream" (not sure what they technically are) cones!
This is the ONLY location where the dispensing machine has NEVER been broken when I've been there! (knock on wood)
Even if you order the regular vs large size, they are usually generous (by today's standards anyway). If they're a bit on the tall and/or runny side, however, be sure to ask for a cup just in case. (After two major ploppages all over me and my car, I finally learned my lesson.)
They are consistently extremely tasty!
The following tips are meant as general guidelines and may (or may not) work at this and other locations. An example of possible variables include who's serving you...
TIP #1: If you want a cone but want to go coneless, DO NOT order a plain sundae. No matter what size you want, order a cone in a cup to avoid the higher price charged for sundaes.
TIP #2: If you want a plain sundae, DO NOT order a plain sundae! Despite the much higher price tag, you'll get a lot less of the cool heavenly white goodness you so desire. Order a large cone in a cup instead.
TIP #3: If you want a sundae with topping, DO NOT order that sundae! Refer to TIP #2 above. Instead, try ordering a large cone in a cup with a side cup of the topping of your choice.
BONUS TIP: At this location in particular, I've never had a bad batch of french fries (knock on wood), so if you're anything like me and find that hot/cold and salty/sweet combo delectably to die for, you MUST NOT forget to pair some fries with that cone, cup, sundae, shake, McFlurry, or whatever other cold and creamy offering McDonald's has for...
