The food is good, but some entrees are pricy for what you get. Some of the staff needs to learn way better customer service skills when there is a problem. The family and I were there last night. I had two issues. The chicken kabobs ordered (the menu says kabobs, and makes you think you are getting more than one) turned out to be a SINGLE skewer with seasoned chicken along the length. It comes with two sides, so ordered fries for both sides. The two sides of fries were the equivalent of one side anywhere else I have ever eaten. My problem... The cost was $9.95. for that I would have expected 2 skewers. Cheaping out on the quantity of fries and giving the equivalent of one side was poor. A different person other than our server (she wasn't very attentive) came around and I asked about the chicken and the fries, thinking they must have just shorted us a skewer and forgot the second side by mistake. She admitted that it is only 1 skewer. After telling her that is practically robbery, she admitted that I am not the first to complain. Tobe fair, she did offer to give us more fries and I thanked her for that much.
The second problem was with the pasta Alfredo with broccoli that we ordered. Again, it was tasty, and would have been even better had it contained any of the broccoli it was supposed to have. She had asked us if we wanted to add chicken or shrimp, and we said no, we didn't need that. When our server came back and I asked about the lack of broccoli, her response... "Oh, you have to tell us if you want the broccoli on it". Huh? I then said, "but it is listed as coming with broccoli on the menu." To which she responded, "Well, lots of people don't want the broccoli, so we changed it to you have to ask". Ooookay... Makes perfect sense now! Now I am responsible for ordering the broccoli Alfredo and making sure to specify that I actually want the broccoli! What a joke. After explaining the new rules to me, she just said, "sorry" and walked away.
Antonio, I hope you are reading this and pay attention. If true, this is a stupid policy. Also, please consider lowering the price of the kabobs, or increasing the amount one gets. Lastly, your peeps need better training on response and handling of these types of problems. Let me know if you want me to stop in to talk more about this, as I know you are a...
Read moreStopped for lunch while passing through Andrews. While the food was tasty, I was disappointed in the service. I ordered a sub and the waitress asked if I wanted chips, fries, or sweet potato fries with it. I told her sweet potato fries would be great. When the check came, there was an extra charge for the fries. While paying the check I told the person at the register (the owner I assume) and my waitress that the way she asked what I wanted with my sandwich it sounded like fries or chips were included. She apologized and the owner mumbled "I am sorry." Yet, he did not offer to remove the charge for the fries. The cost of the fries is not the issue; rather, his attitude came across as not caring about customer satisfaction. It makes me wonder if this was poor communication or an orchestrated scam for...
Read moreWe always default to Antonios when we just want really good food but I don't want to cook. You really can taste that everything is handmade which is why I love it as much as I do. You can taste it. I brought a friend to lunch here from out of town and she still talks about it. I also love that i can order a healthy meal here, and made to order as i am calorie conscious, and its delicious and made right. It is just very apparent that the owners are actively involved and care about their business and product... The hours are unreliable and that is frustrating as the food is...
