A Serene Culinary Escape at Morning Fog Coffee

Stepping into Morning Fog Coffee is akin to walking into a warm, caffeinated embrace. The ambiance strikes a rare balance between cozy and sophisticated—soft lighting, the faint hum of conversation, and the gentle clinking of porcelain cups set the perfect tone for either quiet reflection or lively dialogue. But it’s the culinary experience that truly elevates this gem beyond the ordinary.

Let’s begin with the coffee—rich, complex, and remarkably well-crafted. Morning Fog doesn’t simply serve coffee; they curate it. Each cup bursts with nuanced layers: deep, earthy undertones supported by hints of cocoa, citrus, or stone fruit depending on the roast. It’s clear the baristas take their craft seriously, treating each pour like an art form. This is not your run-of-the-mill caffeine fix; it’s a revelation in a mug.

Then there’s the food—oh, the food. The muffins are nothing short of transcendent. Moist yet airy, delicately sweet without being cloying, they dance between indulgence and restraint. The blueberry muffin in particular deserves its own standing ovation, with plump, juicy berries that burst in your mouth and a crumb topping that feels like a small act of rebellion against mediocrity.

Their pancakes are pillowy, golden discs of perfection—fluffy enough to feel light, yet hearty enough to satisfy. Drizzled with just the right amount of maple syrup and crowned with fresh fruit or a pat of butter, they toe the line between comfort food and elevated brunch fare.

But if you’re looking for something with a savory twist, the avocado toast is a standout. It’s thoughtfully layered: a crusty slice of artisan bread, perfectly ripe avocado mashed with a touch of citrus and sea salt, and crowned with microgreens, chili flakes, or a poached egg if you’re feeling decadent. It’s a dish that manages to be both nourishing and gourmet.

In short, Morning Fog Coffee is a masterclass in breakfast and brunch done right. With its impeccable coffee, irresistible menu, and welcoming atmosphere, it’s the kind of place you find yourself returning to—not just for the food, but for the experience. A true neighborhood treasure that elevates the simple joy of a morning meal into something...

I've visited Morning Fog twice now, and both times have been great. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious, and the building is nice and cozy.

Inside there are several tables available, as well as a nice couch in front of a big fireplace. Outside has even more seating, as well as a swing set for the kids, and another swing that adults can enjoy.

As for the food; I have to admit, I was skeptical when I saw the breakfast sandwich was served on a bagel. I've only ever had store bought bagels and, while I like them, I generally only eat one half at a time because they are so chewy. This is not the case with MoFo's bagels. They are some how soft and crispy at the same time. The combination of the jalapeno cheddar bagel with their MoFo sauce on the breakfast sandwich is wonderful.

I can't say much about their coffee, as I'm not much of a coffee person. I know the other people I went with really liked theirs. Perhaps I'll try something on my next visit since I enjoyed their bagels so much.

I've been telling all my friends they need to make a trip out to Andrews and try out Morning Fog. I need to find the time to try their lunch menu for a smash burger soon, but getting up early on a day off is worth it with their breakfast sandwich. With the convenience of a drive through, I may be able to go by during my work week for a...

The nicest coffee shop in the best location in downtown Andrew’s, NC. So nicely decorated. Chairs were comfortable, they have a nice sitting area by the fireplace. Tables and chairs sprinkled around. Plenty of seating outside on a huge deck and other areas. Area gave off a great vibe. We ordered our drinks and muffins and scones and found a table. They call your name when your drink order is ready for you to pick up and the server brings any food to your table. We got the maple, chai scone, pumpkin spice latte, a plain coffee and a lemon blueberry muffin. My friend said the coffee was delicious and enjoyed the lemon blueberry muffin. The pumpkin spice latte was good and I understand their syrups are homemade but it did not taste like pumpkin spice. It just tasted like sweetened coffee, which was still good. The brand of coffee they use is robust and has a great flavor. The maple chai scone was good, the icing made it. All the servers and employees were hustling, I saw no one just standing around. Employees are very polite. Our bill was $22.21 and that included our tip. I would return if...

**⭐ 1/2 Star – Absolute Robbery & Terrible Experience** I was recommended this place while visiting Andrews, NC, and it was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. **Complete scam**—I got charged *extra* for **½ pump of mocha** and **½ pump of caramel** in my drink. Oh, and they had the nerve to charge me **for less ice**! So not only did I pay for the drink, but I also paid extra to get less of everything. What kind of greedy nonsense is that? The food was just as bad. My sandwich tasted like it had been zapped in a microwave, yet the bread was somehow still cold. And of course, for this low-quality garbage, the prices were ridiculously high. The service? Terrible. The food? Disgusting. The pricing? Highway robbery. Will I ever come back? Not a chance. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely not. Save your money and your taste buds—go literally anywhere else.
