Went to Wendy's for chicken nuggets, they were not busy i was the only customer. Ordered 2 20 piece chicken nuggets, one spicy one regular. They pulled me forward and said they just dropped the nuggets, guy comes out in less than a minute. I check the nuggets as soon as I get home, let me mind you that I used to run a dairy queen in lubbock and I used to work at a Wendy's in lubbock as a cook too. Nuggets came out too fast to be fresh, they take up to 7 minutes to cook so I know for a fact they gave me old nuggets because they were half hard when I checked them at home. They were hot but not fresh. This is what you call a redrop and is not supposed to be done. It takes the quality out of the food. They had 3 guys out in the back I guess on break so that let's you know their not busy for sure. Any ways I called them and they don't even answer the phone so I can talk to a manager so I'm posting experience. Wendy's is a really good franchise if they have the right people working. This store has been struggling since they opened. People just don't care about there jobs anymore. Remember you chose to work there and should take pride in what you do even if you don't like your job. You can always leave and go somewhere else or get a better education and get out of the restaurant business. I hope that the owners reads this or the manager because you have some work to do with the people you hired. If they don't want to be there and dont help you get your store right, fire them and hire people who want to work, not your friends and family or your friends friend. I own my own business and do have room to talk for all the smart guys that might reply. I just want good food for the prices yall charge. I will be calling back until I can get ahold of the gm or the district gm. Please do better, alot of people love Wendy's but not when it's ran like this. I have had several bad experiences with this store and not all are bad but most are so it's like taking a gamble and...
Read moreThought maybe the other reviews were exaggerating, as someone who works in food service myself. No, seriously, there's something wrong with this store lol. I get the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger all the time at Wendy's anywhere (Odessa, Midland, out of town, ect) and for some reason this is the only store I've ever had a problem with. I pretty much only come into Andrews once every few months and get Wendy's rarely when I am here, and even then every single time something is wrong. I am either waiting well past 20 minutes (for a biggie bag!), something is missing in my order, or it's just completely wrong. This time, I ordered what I normally get, and even though I am the only one in the drive thru and there is nobody inside, I get told to pull up and wait. Which is just weird to me since it's such a simple order it's usually very quick. I understand that drive thru times are important metrics, but it's just kinda shady to be parking people just so it looks like your store is fast. I asked for a side of mayo, they gave me ketchup. I asked for a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, and they give me a single patty Bacon Double Stack (basically with all with pickles, onions, ketchup, ect.) which is just weird to me. I didn't notice the burger until I already drove away. I hate ketchup, I think it's disgusting, so I couldn't even eat it. How do you get everything pretty much opposite like that? People make mistakes, which is why I haven't left a review before, but this place consistently screws up. It just reminded me I needed to leave a review. Y'all don't train...
Read moreI would give 0 stars if I could. They will STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! I do not ever go to Wendy's but was picking up food for my sister and that's what she wanted. I was nervous after reading all the reviews. We were coming through town from Seminole to Gardendale so just needed to pick up order quickly. I ordered online for a pickup order. When I got there they had a bus load of teenagers from out of town. They were taking care of all their orders first instead of online orders. They could not give me a time of when they'd even be working on the order. So I asked to cancel my order. They said I'd have to call corporate and get it canceled there that they could not do it on there end but that I should be refunded. I called Wendy's when they opened and they had this location store call me and said they'd get it refunded. I paid with Google pay so there was confusion on how to refund. She ended up just asking me last four digits of card and said they'd refund it. I thought was strange because I'd think they'd need the whole card number. I was right I never received a refund. It's been over 3 weeks. It was a big order too $46. I've emailed since then never heard back. So I call again just now and I'm still gonna have to wait for a district manager to call me. I have no clue when or if I'll get refunded. I've spent so much time trying to get my refund. It is so unfair. This location is awful from reading all the reviews and my own experience. Why is this...
