I'm only giving three stars because of the service. The food is fantastic , great portions , great prices . Yesterday was my second time at this restruant and honestly it was a pretty bad experience . Me and my husband love to go out and treat our servers. My husband was so upset over the service we had yesterday , he was mad he had to leave 16% . The girl was sweet I'm not trying to bash her but someone needs to train alittle better on customer service . The younger girl with dark hair , she was nice very pretty ,but it's like she's scared to interact with her guest . She would come drop our items off and run away before we could even ask her for anything, I sat pretty much my entire dinner with an empty drink to the point my husband gave me his and it was also empty before we were finished dining . The girl never came to check up on us once until we were completely done and sitting for a while. We asked her for some boxes ,a chocolate pie, and a togo drink since mine was never refilled . She came dropped off the boxes my drink and the check , no dessert . Before we could ask anything she just runs off back to the front to go chat with the other employees (who were all crowded in the front laughing and being loud, which is honestly very embarrassing for an establiment. Not very professional) my husband had to chase her down and told her he asked for a pie not the check? So she goes to the back for a minute and comes up and says oh well we don't have any . No biggie , we had the cash out for the bill and she never came back . So we just left the cash on the table , and My husband was really looking forward to making someone's Christmas last night . He was very upset because he couldn't justify treating her on no effort at all what's so ever . Me and him have both been servers for a long time , I am the general manager of a restruant in Pearland and I was just so disappointed. Someone needs to train these young girls on better customer service! She was sweet but was either to timid or to distracted chatting with the whole staff right by the front doors . Honestly was just a very unprofessional experience. I will be back because the food was great , and the first time I came there a gentleman took care of me and was fantastic ,but I want this out here so the owner can see . Read moreWell my party of 4 arrived and no one was in the restrauant except for the employees and we were rold we could sit anywhere we would like so we went looking for a table and most of them were very dirty we finally found one that was clean-ish so we sat down and wiped it off ourselves. We waited a long while for our waitress to show up. She was busy talking to other employees and goofing off. When she finally did come she threw our menus and silverware down on the table and did not have a pleasant tone in her voice. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. When she brought our drinks and salads she just set the drinks at the end of the table and did not hand it to anyone. Then our crackers were stale. And there was a brown worm looking thing in our salad. And the tomatoes were rotten. So we waited on our food a long while. Our order was put in around 8:30 and they didn't start making noise in the kitchen until 10:45. We finally got our food and it was too hot to eat. But the fried food had a lot more breading on it then meat. The vegetables were very aldente. The fries tasted like they were just thrown into the microwave after being left out for several hours. Our waitress was sweeping the floors and we asked for 2 to go boxes and our ticket. She laid the broom down on a table and went to the computer got our ticket then grabbed the to go boxes and di dnt wash her hands before handling them. And she put our ticket inside the to go boxes, said the cashier will take care of us. So as we left we went to pay but there was no one there to give our card to. A little bit later a girl showed up and printed receipts for us and the pen was working and then gave me a folder to write on because the receipt paper won't pick up the ink from the pen. Overall my experience was horrible and I don't plan on returning anytime soon. I will just go to the Runway Café at the airport from now on or drive to Baytown to eat seafood. But I don't recommend this...
Read moreI would give this place five stars on food flavor because most of their dishes taste gr8! However, my 1st visit was disappointing on a slow Monday! The order was short & simple, clamari & shrimp cocktail appetizers + jumbo shrimp salad as our meal. We asked for our appetizers to be brought out before our meal. Shrimp cocktail was brought out 1st. After a long wait & having asked for ketchup that should have been @ the table, we had to find our own ketchup from another table. I practically had to get up from my table & beg for the calamari from the hostess & the kitchen staff to be brought out after a longer wait while waitress seemed busy tending to a larger table than ours of (2), obviously anticipating a larger tip. T.t.G., the calamari was absolutely delicious which made up for the wait. We were so hungry for our appetizers due to the long wait that we filled up on them & our simple salads NEVER came out so we cancelled that order. Good luck getting refills on drinks w/o feeling like a nuisance. Once @ the register, hostess voiced her witnessing my order being taken & our long wait. There were only apologise from the kitchen staff NOTHING was comped for our long wait. 8/21/16 was my 2nd visit only to find out shrimp cocktail gave my friend the trots from our 1st visit & I experienced what she meant after having had the grilled shrimp & veggies on my 2nd visit. My husband also experienced the same after having had the fried redsnapper fillets w/trimmings. However, we all agreed that the flavor of the food was actually very good. Perhaps improper food handling could be the cause of giving ppl "the trots", after having dined @ this place so be warned of it's delicious...
