Went for the first time with my family. The service was very slow And there were two girls that were Waiting on us. Every time I would make an order, they would quickly walk off after hearing what I wanted to order and wouldn’t take the time to double check and make sure that that is exactly what I wanted. Example I ordered an entrée that had mashed potatoes and I wanted to change that to a salad, but as soon as I told her what I wanted And she says OK and took off. I didn’t want to be that person and say anything rude or make her return the mashed potatoes for a salad so I just settled with the mashed potatoes. We ordered three appetizers and they all came out cold. I ordered the cheese curds and they were hard cold by the time they came out. I also had an order of Green Fried Tomatoes, that came out cold and tough. The batter was thick and so when they came out cold, they were almost not edible. I understand that cheese gets cold fast, but the way it came out definitely meant that it all had sat a while. The restaurant also had a comedian, performing. It was 8:00 PM And there were families eating with children, and basically the comedian got up there and said The comedy show was not for children and so families basically had to hurry up, eat and get out of there if they had children. I thought this was a family oriented type of restaurant. It did not say it was strictly a bar or 21 and older. The comedian was rude and definitely not funny. Me and my family will not return back...

I wanted to like this place more than just 3 stars 🌟. I really really did. The building decor is cute and has its niche. We got here at 12:40 (just as lunch was starting to slow). There was plenty of seating. At a glance, it would seem that everyone who was seated just got there. The more we listened to conversation around us and watched the waitresses, the more we realized that was not the case. Our waitress seemed to be doing the job of several people, including bartender and more than her share of tables. Bless her heart she was trying. We were there for 1 hour 20 minutes before we ever received our main entrees. That's not excessive if the place is so busy that there is standing room only and people are waiting to be seated but by this time the place had basically cleared out with the exception of a table in the back. Again, I don't know the circumstances of that table, but that is excessive for what I felt this place was shooting for. The food was about average in taste. The fried green Tomatos were cut too thick for my liking, and so were the fried pickles and peppers. We are used to the thinner slices. All the food just seemed below par. The pictures made it look so tasty, but looks can be deceiving. Like I said at the beginning, I really wanted to like this place, but it had too many things not going it's way. The likelihood of us coming...

I debated writing this over the past few days but I’ve decided to speak out. I was eating at this restaurant on Sunday morning and it was very busy and there was only maybe a handful of servers on the floor, it was clear that they were all extremely busy but they were killing it. However when I began watching the window where the food is brought out from I noticed a major problem. There was a grown man handling the window and he was yelling in all the servers faces. I was enraged and asked my server to tell me who he was, she seemed very hesitant to tell me but she mentioned that he was the kitchen manager for the restaurants. I asked for his name and she told me his name but i don’t quite remember it (it started with a P). I continued to watch him throughout our meal and I was close enough to hear how he was belittling the poor young servers. I watched a grown man snatch what i assume were tickets out of many of their hands as he continued to yell at them. I also watched as he put his hands aggressively on one of them before snatching one of the tickets. I asked my server if all of her managers treated them like this and she admitted to me that all other managers were absolutely amazing to them. But what i witnessed from that man and how he treated those girls was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. The owner need to do better in protecting...

The Dirty South was a very nice restaurant. I heard many good things about it from people I know before I actually was able to try it. I was glad I did, they had good food, good service and they had a bar with all the alcohol proudly displayed. When we arrived we were seated in the back of the restaurant by the kitchen, which was pretty cool we were able to see food being prepared and some dishes we saw the entire process. The service was good, the waitress was always ready with our order or bringing water to the table which was helpful for us to order. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese, which sounded very good on the menu, I am glad I did. The Mac and cheese had a good cheese to noodle ratio, which helped not be too cheesy and overload the lobster, but helped the lobster to still keep its yummy flavor in compliments of the cheese. The lobster in the mac and cheese was very good, meaty chunks. They had more meat and tastier than I usually in dishes similar to those. The lobster was very good on its own as well as with the mac and cheese together. They also have live music on Friday and Saturday, which looked like fun. Recommend this place very much, they have seafood, bbq and burgers to please all people.

Let me start off by saying all of my reviews are my opinions and I try to do my best to be as fair and honest as possible. That being said, the food at this place was absolutely amazing! The gf had Chicken Fried steak. And I had shrimp tacos, and we shared the brisket tater tots. Now for the service, we were there early to miss any of the craziness that the night could bring. So I was trying to figure out how you run out of silverware at 630 at night? I mean, I do know the answer the girls at the host stand could get off of their cell phones and roll silverware. We did sit outside because it felt wonderful out and I guess that was a bad idea because I had to get-up-and-go inside to find my server to get silverware after she had set down our appetizer, I waited about five minutes and got up. And then again, when we were done eating. I waited about 10 minutes for her at the table. For her to bring our check. And once again went inside and waited another five minutes to even find her, because she was nowhere to be found. The only reason why I will be back is because the food tasted so good.
