UPDATE: the store reached back out to me and made things right. They reimbursed my order and offered apologies for my experience today and the misunderstanding. Now THAT is the Pita King i know. Thank you Pita King!

My coworker and I placed online orders for Pita King. I called them after I realized I somehow placed an order for 2 chicken Shawarmas, and asked if they could cancel the second order. They said sure that’s no problem, and I then told them as an aside, that my co worker was picking up the food for me. I get a call from them after her pickup that they accidentally gave her a wrong order and need us to come back. No offer for a discount or free sandwich for their blunder, but okay. At this point we won’t be able to have our work meeting at the office because of these delays. When she finally got that sorted and got back to the office, she gave me two chicken shawarmas. I called the Restaurant and asked, they claimed they thought I was telling them I was gifting the second sandwich to my co worker. What the heck, I understand work can be busy but that is just incompetent. Charged for both, for what’s now a cold meal.now sure I understand it was my fault for placing the double order, but then don’t tell me it’s taken care of when I call about it.
