Billy D's Crooked Tavern — Restaurant in Annandale

I attended the street dance event hosted by Billy ds and was shocked by the way I was treated. What should have been a fun community event turned into an incredibly disappointing and unsafe experience.

During the event, I was physically assaulted on three separate occasions by the same individual. I never once laid my hands on anyone. Despite being the victim in this situation, the owner of the establishment made the decision to have ME removed from the event and involved law enforcement against me—completely disregarding the actual aggressor’s behavior.

It is deeply concerning that the owner of a business hosting a public event would handle a situation this poorly, siding with the person committing physical assault while ejecting the person being attacked. This kind of judgment is not only irresponsible but dangerous and damn right insulting to an innocent person who had just been strangled multiple times.

I would strongly urge anyone attending events hosted by this establishment to reconsider, especially if they value their safety or expect fair treatment because the owner of this place will just side with who she knows instead of actually caring about...

We stopped on a winter "get out of the house" touring day. Feb 17 2023 Friday about 2:30 pm. We stopped here for a bite to eat, from the other reviews saying that the staff was friendly. Couldn't agree more. Staff was friendly! Easy to work. Menu had a good variety, we only had nacho's. Hubby and I agree, best nacho's we've had in a very long time. A large group came in and we watched how they were served. LOVED it. A table of 14+ and when the wait person thought she'd covered everyone, she asked again! Did I miss anyone? Great staff! Been here 3 times in the past month or so. First time we were looking for a place to eat we hadn't been before. We're from Buffalo. Second time we stopped after the Swopper's Meet with my sister and BIL. Third time it was our anniversary. We were planning on eating at The Thayer, but they had a kitchen mishap and kitchen was closed. Oh well!... let's go back to Billy D's. Everytime the food was delicious and the service was great. Staff are friendly too. Thanks! Think we found a new hang out!! BTW: The steak fries are an addicting...
