Rendezvous Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Annandale

All of the staff was so welcoming. It seemed like all of the patrons knew each other and the vibes were awesome. This place is huge and has pool tables and darts and a stage. We each got a burger at the recommendation of a waitress and ordered some wings and duck wontons. The duck wontons were standard and delicious but the sweet chili sauce they provided for dipping was out of this world! The wings were in a house made sweet and spicy sauce that was also recommended and is made in house. Really delicious. The burgers were hand pattied and way above my expectations for a bar/grill type of burger. We took over the juke box and made some friends at the bar. I'm normally quite negative (and truthful) regarding my reviews here on Google maps. This review will only highlight the positives and only because their are some great people there who are genuine, energetic and great at their jobs who deserve praise. If your going to this dive bar during the day, ask for Shelly. She's fun, kind and full of energy. In the evening, seek out Wes as your bartender. He's a great host. He should be the manager and probably will be somewhere someday. Wes will ensure a good (and safe) time. If ordering a burger ask Les to cook it- they're great. After a long absence from Annandale, decided to give this place a try. Should have listened to my gut. Still the worst service and rudest employees I've ever had the displeasure of coming across. Josh and his buddy with the dreads if you were as rude to others as you were to me you would have been FIRED! If you mix a drink for a patron that is WRONG that is on the business not the guest.
