7-1-23 9:30am Been eating here year after year. Great food, ALWAYS is. I had the "Hometown Hash brown". I could not of made this better at home. Then I craved some "Coconut cream pie". As I expected. Like the other items I've tried over the years. It was GOOD. Crispy flaky crust holding light creamy filling. Order anything.... It will be Good Excellent service. 8-26-23 10am This morning, liver and onions. It was a must have if you like like that. Yes liver and onions..... tator tots veggie blend and a bun. Stop in and say hello to Lindsay. 9-2-23 Labor day weekend. Very busy place. I recommend their biscuits and gravy. 9-23-23 This place never disappoints. Whatever you wish to have on the menu, any time of the day. 9:00am - Roast beef commercial with mashed potatoes, iced tea, apple crisp with a scoop of ice cream. So dang good. You can’t beat a small town, country style cafe. If you don’t catch it in their name, nor their slogan “your home away from home cookin’” then taste it with what they are serving. Straight up menu of a variety of eggs, omelettes, pancakes, French toast, corn beef hash, ham, sausage and bacon. Seat yourself and before long you are bumping elbows with the locals hearing the latest weather report, crop predictions, fishing tales and the interests from around town. More accurate with flare and flavor from a whimsical old timer then you will ever find from one of those pretty talking heads online. My Homestyle Omelette was filled with diced sausage, hash browns, green peppers, mushrooms and cheddar cheese, with two slices of English muffin toast. An extra order of a fluffy, sweet pancake complimented the meal without breaking the bank. Food may not be fancy but fills the belly and leaves you feeling like you just left...

My car pulled in here last fall one morning. I was tired and feeling i needed some coffee to wake up to continue on with my day. Im not a big breakfast person, id rather sip on coffee and chat with someone i dont know. The place had many locals who i could tell visited frequently. I was greeted warmly and had great service from the wait staff. I found a little gem on the menu that has made me drive and come visit them many times again when i need a little pick me up. Try it. It works great. Just order a big piece of homemade bread pudding. It came warm with a brown sugar butter crust and whip topping. Probably the best ive had. If you like something different then the norm, youll like this too! Brought me right back to grandma's house when i was a kid, but even better. Who says you need to have eggs, bacon and toast...
