Picture this.
The time is 1am, you are dead tired after tattooing and talking with clients all day, your back and arms are beaten up like heck. There's nothing but eggs and orange juice to eat at home. You don't want to cook. You feel like your body is shutting down.
In 30 minutes you will probably be passed out from exhaustion. Every terrible fast food option you might have jammed in your face is closed.
You wander aimlessly, knowing sleeping hungry will suck. Suddenly, to the left, there, atop that hill! Is that a neon open sign?! There by the karaoke spot!
You whip up into the parking lot, ready for the sign to have been left on by accident, knowing sudden disappointment is commonplace in this city.
Bopping over you see a few fellas behind the counter inside. One of them makes eye contact with you, he nods, they're open still! Sustenance! You're going to make it!
Everyone workin here was so nice, security fella came and chatted too, made some great personal recommendations. Lil sample was so good and I ordered a lamb burrito/wrap, hit me with that extra spicy sauuce, and a bonus chilly Root Beer. Thank you so much, fellas!
Got back to the car and crushed that jaunt, SO FCKNG GOOD, AND HEALTHY TOO! Go check the spot out, they opened up very recently. No need to suppress the delicious food moans that are finna be coming out of your body, live that experience up!
Don't be a little babe, get the spicy sauce and do your tummy a solid. Pop a tip in that jar for a local small business. 💖
I'll be back for...

Blazin Halal is not just a meal—it’s a full-blown New York City street food experience served hot and unapologetically bold. Born from the vibrant food cart culture of NYC, this spot brings the authenticity, attitude, and explosive flavor that makes halal food a staple in the five boroughs.
Flavor That Slaps
From the moment you unwrap your platter, the aroma hits you: smoky grilled meats, rich spices, and that unmistakable sizzle of a hot griddle. The chicken and lamb combo is a must-try—juicy, seasoned to perfection, and served over fluffy yellow rice with crisp lettuce, grilled onions, and toasted pita. But the real hero? That signature white sauce and fiery red hot sauce that live up to the “Blazin” name.
Street Vibes with a Side of Hospitality
Blazin Halal doesn’t try to be fancy—and that’s the point. It’s street-style with swagger. The service is fast, friendly, and no-nonsense, just like NYC itself. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or fueling up after hours, the team keeps the line moving without sacrificing quality.
Bang for Your Buck
Portions are generous—enough to satisfy the biggest appetites without breaking the bank. This is the kind of spot where $10 feels like a feast, not just a snack.

Read moreWe live nearby and walk to this plaza often, but somehow never noticed Blazin Halal tucked away in the corner until yesterday, and I’m so glad we finally did. From the second we walked in, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We didn’t even know what we wanted, but they offered us samples right away and made us feel completely at ease.
We ordered the jerk chicken with their house rice, which came with fresh veggies like lettuce, tomatoes, chickpeas, their house sauces, and hummus. It was so flavorful and fresh. While we were enjoying that and waiting on our smash burger, my husband realized he had forgotten to mention that he’s lactose intolerant and couldn’t have cheese. When we let them know, they immediately started making a new one without cheese, no hesitation at all. A few minutes later, one of the employees came out and said they still wanted me to try the original version with cheese, on the house, since they heard it was just my husband who couldn’t have dairy. That gesture really stood out to us. It was so kind and thoughtful.
You can tell they genuinely care about their food and their customers. Everything was seasoned perfectly and made with care. We left full, happy, and already planning to come back with friends and family. 10/10 food, service, and...
