Love, love, LOVE this place!! The food is unbelievable and customer service is personal and can't be beat.
I came across this place randomly on google maps while on a road trip from Boston to North Carolina and just passing through Tysons/Arlington/Annondale headed south. The first time I stopped in I was having kind of a down day but after walking in, sitting down, being served and eating their food I was blown away and it totally turned my day around. I knew I had to come stop by again on my return drive back up north.
The two guys working behind the counter were extremely friendly, personable, and treat you like family. They treat all their customers like family and I really love that. When I ordered ahead on my return drive back up north, the two younger guys working behind the counter (I'm so sorry I forgot your names, please forgive me!) remembered who I was and made sure I was taken care of and wished me safe travels on the rest of my roadtrip. The owner also personally handed me my food that I ordered for takeaway that day. Also, for the record- the Boston area does not (that I know of) have an Afghan restaurant that can even come close to the flavor and tenderness of this food! I will definitely miss it.
Both times I stopped in I got the Palau Kabob both times, once with lamb and the other time with chicken. Both phenomenal. In addition to the main kebob-meat-of-choice, it also comes with a meat sauce and if I'm being honest, I could eat a pile of just that meat sauce with seasoned rice alone it's so good. I also highly recommend a side soup if they're offering it as well as their mint yogurt sauce. The bread is also awesome.
Thank you again for such amazing service and food! I will miss this place!...

I left and went to a place in Braddock rd where I always bought my Afghan food. The only reason I ordered here was because I wanted a place closer to my house. So disappointing. NEVER going back there.
Very rude! I called to make an order and the men on the phone was really rude and yelling at me to hurry up. He wouldn't tell me how much the total cost, you should ALWAYS TELL THE COSTUMER THE TOTAL AMOUNT. I was repeating my question about how much it costs and then he yelled at me that they're busy and that he doesn't have time for this. I yelled back "Sir! Everywhere is busy and there's still places that treats costumers with respect and compassion!! You are very rude and UNPROFESSIONAL!" I then proceeded to tell him that this will be the last time I will order anything from this place. How are you going to get costumers if you are so rude? You're NOT anything not anyone special! All businesses get busy!!! But they don't yell at their costumers to hurry up!! That is UNPROFESSIONAL and NOT the way to run a business. Even if you're having a bad day, FAKE IT! Your fake smiles and fake friendly tone of voice will make your business boom like the any other one. When you're hiring workers, make sure they know how to treat a HUMAN BEING. And definitely make sure their TRAINED in taking order and multitasking because that men never ended up telling me the cost and didn't ask for my name so I...
Read moreRead moreThis is the second time I have been there. The "owner's son" was at the register taking orders. He was so full of energy, great attitude, and so very helpful to the line of customers in front of me I felt comfortable asking him to help me choose some dishes, as I had never eaten this type of food before. He was in his realm!!! He was so proud of the dishes and explained them with such enthusiasm. The choices he chose for me were AWESOME! I admit that I went to a similar restaurant much closer to my house soon after that (Ariana Grill). At Ariana's...pm (dinner time) it was completely empty except for one customer. I found out soon enough why... The owner was a horrible little man with terrible service and a bad attitude (looked and acted like Soup Nazi -Seinfeld). I returned once again to Food Corner Kabob House, and was not disappointed. I brought my fiancee (who is scared of ethnic food) and he LOVED IT. The "son" was there again and helped me again. There is a wait...(that shows that people were flocking to the place!)-but my God is it worth the wait!!!! I also really appreciated the fact that when I picked up my food (they make your order fresh so you have to take a number) that the son told me not to worry about the bill at the moment..."to eat it while it was hot" and worry about the charges later.I LOVE THIE FOODI LOVE THE SERVICE!!! If you want middle eastern food...THIS IS...
