Two Angels Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Antigo

I loved my breakfast... although everyone must! It was very busy. My husband and I sat at the counter just to be seated right away. The servers where all every friendly and all seemed to mesh very well. This was obvious to everyone as one customer tipped each individual waitress $10 regardless if they waited their table or not! (I know this because I was at the counter) The cooks just as phenomenal. Biscuits and gravy is my personal favorite. However- they always have cold gravy or not enough BUT HERE the gravy was hot! There was plenty of gravy to finish my biscuits even a bit for my hashbrowns! That costs them what .50 cents for that extra gravy on the plate their competitors are to stingy to put on yet that bit extra gains repeat business. Happy customers = repeat/loyal customers. I really want to give this restaurant more stars, but I can't. I ordered chicken noodle soup and it was extremely salty, had maybe two tiny pieces of actual chicken in it and not a carrot or bit of celery that I could find. They called it Greek Chicken Soup because it had orzo instead of spaghetti noodles and charged for the name apparently. My guess is that it was canned. How hard is it to make a decent homemade soup, literally for goodness sake? If you're one of only a very few restaurants in a small town, and you've got the advantage of location on your side, perhaps you don't feel the need to strive for quality. That's the impression I got from this bowl of soup. The orders of my dining partners we're edible but nothing to rave about. I'm not going to pretend that I know what it takes to run a restaurant but surely a little effort to improve the menu can only be good...

My boyfriend and I went here last night, it was our first date night since the stay at home order has been lifted. We are in town for his internship at Volm Industries. We had a very kind, sweet server. I never caught her name but she looked to be about age 16-18, with bangs and curly hair. She was so sweet and a great server!!! We got our appetizers quickly, which was good because we were hungry. And our burgers came out shortly after! Great service, kind people and a welcoming/family atmosphere. The food was good as well!
