I have been to this restaurant many times, it is clean, food is great, service is first rate. I estimate this restaurant has at least 30 tables/booths. When we arrived at the restaurant, there were 2 other customers/parties seated at booths next to one another. We were seated in the next booth. Soon a man/woman/child arrived, the 4th set of customers. They were seated in the booth next to us, and they coughed throughout our meal. When their food arrived, they found a string/hair? in their food. The server told them it was part of chopstick, a string of the fiber in a chopstick. It was the color or a chopstick, about 6 inches long. I know this because the server was holding it in his fingers walking back and forth. The large man got up out of the booth and actually stood there brushing up against my husband who was seated in our booth. The back and forth discussion between those customers and the server ruined my dining experience. We could hardly relax or enjoy our meal with this upset customer standing so close to our booth he was touching my husband! We got up and headed for the front desk/cashier. I let her know we did not enjoy the experience because of the issues with the customers next to us, paid our $45 bill and a 20% tip and left. I suggest that the restaurant seat customers so there is an empty booth between customers, as their space allows for this. We could have enjoyed our meal, but it is true the server would have had to walk an extra 5 or 6 steps to serve us. In this economy you would think that restaurants would do all they could to keep the customers satisfied. The woman who took our money didnt say a word, no...
Read moreThis place looks cheesy but when you go in the decor is way above par. they have nice chairs not the kind you see in churches. you know the metal bar chairs with coushings. these are wood and big and coushing and the marble tables are very classy. The food is so much better than a lot of the chinese places I've been in the. It was very MODERN inside not cheesy old 80's or money saving. My friends and I have always like 3 brothers the best when they are on they are the best, how ever we wondered into hidden dragon and they were slamming. We gave them a second try like 3 brothers in concord I wanted to see if they were hit or miss. Todays lunch was just as good if not better. The wonton coup has fresh veggies and the wontons very flavor full. the weight staff was so nice and would never let me fill my own glass of water. The sweet and sour chicken was also very fresh in texture. i think it was made to order. The pork fried rice was even better very good. I have to say we got a lot of food for the cost as well. the dinner for 2 was soup 2 appetizers, fried rice, broccoli beef which the broccoli wasn't over cooked like a lot of restaurants do and was still at the point of crisp but cooked. and also part of the dinner for two was the sweet and sour chicken. all that food we took a lot home and ate for 2 days. We also ordered as a side Mongolian beef! had to be the best dish we had and for all this we ate for 30 bux! I have to say over all tops in the bay for food quality taste taste service and cost. they are our new favorite screw 3 brothers Im never going there again. I hope they do well I never want them to close cuz I dont wanna ever...
Read moreBest Americanized Chinese place in a long time.
First off - This place is clean. The floors are clean, the walls and booths are clean, even the most neglected part of any restaurant, the ceiling, is clean. This says a lot about a place to me. Furthermore, it seems everything is in good repair.
They have a full bar there, but it doesn't look like they have a real large selection. Enough to have a cocktail before or after dinner if you wanted, but don't expect anything special.
We ordered take-out, and it was fantastic. The Mandarin chicken was crisp, the sauce nice and tangy. We also had my guilty favorite - foil wrapped chicken. It was aromatic and delicious. Overall, nothing there was salted too much, and I didn't really feel like I needed to make up for a lack of flavor by adding more salt. The portion sizes were also extremely generous for the price.
I can't comment on the dine-in service, but the take-out service was in line with other Chinese restaurants. A little abrupt, but still polite.
I'd definitely...
