This is meant to be a strong 1.5 stars. This opinion is based solely on our experience eating here today and what we ate. Husband and I came here for lunch. I ordered the garlic bread (which is 3 pieces), fish & chips, and a Shirley temple. My husband had an 8oz Clam Chowder, a Chicken po'boy, and a can of sprite. The restaurant itself is very nice, it's large and spacious, high ceilings, and lots of tables. The wait staff were all very nice and friendly. We got seated at the Far end of the restaurant next to the private room. It was about 10 minutes until someone came to ask us if we were ready to order. It wasn't busy. There were maybe 5 other tables occupied. He did apologize for the wait, and then he took our orders. We discussed the decor whilst waiting, all nautical, very cute. Our drink were brought to us. In plastic cups. Husband's $2 can of sprite came to the table with a plastic cup with ice. My $5 Shirley temple was also in a plastic cup. We continued waiting. Slowly things started arriving one by one. First the garlic bread immediately followed by the fish & chips. The garlic bread was just Texas Toast. Definitely the one in the yellow box. You know the one. Delicious for sure. All you do is stick it in the oven after all, it's not made in house. Kinda hard to mess it up. The fish & chips were served with a small plastic ramekin of tarter sauce. The fish was REALLY thin. The batter, extra crunchy. I like it that way though so not really any complaints there. The French fries were unsalted. Just plain regular French fries. This was $11. 4 pieces of extra crunch fish and bland unsalted French fries. My husband's po'boy came out next. It... was not the size of a po'boy. I'd argue that it wasn't even the size of Báhn mì. There was maybe 5 piece of chicken inside the po'boy, the rest was next to it. It was also just coated in bitter chili powder that clearly was added after it was cooked so it wasn't great. It came with the smallest side of coleslaw I've ever seen. Pretty sure the menu said it was to come with a side salad as that what was shown in the photo. The fries were the same as mine. Unsalted. That was also like $12. A small mostly empty po'boy with sad coleslaw and unsalted bland fries. The claim chowder was a hard one as my husband is from Seattle area and prefers the thickest of chowders but he said it would be fine if it was regular claim chowder. He got it and it was the absolute thinnest. He said it also just wasn't that amazing. He also noted that it should've been served with oyster crackers, not saltines. While we ate this very mildly flavored, and highly disappointing meal, a server never came to us once during the almost hour that we were there. No checking in to see if we were good. No asking if we could get more to drink or asking if we were enjoying our food. I accidentally dropped my cup (it was empty) and the straw fell and rolled. Someone picked that up and didn't talk to us at all. My husband wanted more to drink but he didn't even have anyone to ask. Finally someone just brought me the check and I was able to ask for a box to go. This is the first time in maybe over a year I haven't tipped 20%. I tipped just over 15% and don't feel bad about it at all. I would've tipped less if I knew I wouldn't feel bad about it. But there was no service. We're aware this location is cursed so we don't have plans on coming back until it's whatever restaurant takes over this building.

Happy hour here is a solid option if you’re looking for good deals and big portions that won’t leave you hungry. The food itself was tasty—nothing overly fancy, but it hit the spot. The service was impressively fast, which is always a win, especially during happy hour. That said, the ambiance was kind of disappointing. We visited on a Wednesday around 5 PM, and the place was almost completely empty. It felt more like a quick stop for a meal rather than a lively spot to hang out and enjoy yourself. To make it worse, there were three TV screens in the room, but none of them were on, which made the whole place feel even more lifeless. Another downside is the lack of a full bar. If you’re hoping for cocktails or hard liquor, you’ll be out of luck here. They only offer a small selection of wines and a few beers, which limits the drink options. While the hostess was very friendly and polite, it wasn’t enough to make up for the overall dull atmosphere. For those thinking about ordering crab, be aware that the utensils are pretty minimal—just a cracker and shears, no picks or anything else to help with the messy work of getting to the meat. All in all, it’s a good spot to grab a quick meal if you’re hungry, but it’s definitely not the kind of place you’d choose for a fun hangout or to soak up a lively vibe. They’ve got the food and service down, but they’re missing that extra touch that makes you want to stick around longer. If they worked on the ambiance and drink options, this place could really level up.

This is one of the worst restaurants in Antioch! My daughter and I went there for the first time. The place was empty ( that should’ve been a red light for us) but we were near and were so hungry, well anyways the server seemed kind of disinterested in being there and took a while to seat because he was on the phone. We sat waiting for the same server for quite a bit of time before taking our order, we ordered the calamari, wings, and pasta with shrimp, and finally crab cakes. It all but the crab cakes took literally like 10 minutes to come out and we’ll it was all terribly cooked. The calamari rings were rubbery and seemed old, the wings seemed old and extra sauced to hide how old they were, the pasta wasn’t cooked long enough, and by the time they brought the crab cakes we were ready to leave and disgusted but we gave the cakes a try but had to spit them out right away because they were extremely fishy like ammonia up your nose!! I showed it to the a waiter and he asked us “ what even is that”? He had no clue what they had given up, we were refunded the crab cakes but paid for the rest. I will never return there and will tell everyone not to try it either, please stay away from this place!!! To top it all of my daughter and I had stomach pains from the food on the drive back from there. TOXIC FOOD!!! STAY...
