The wife took me out for a date tonight at the 4 seasons steakhouse. The decore is nice, the chandelier they have is beautiful. I had to ask for my beer 3 times before it came 3/4 full and mostly foam. The bartender said it was a new keg and it needed 24 hours to settle, which anyone with a kegorator knows isn't true. The line needed to be purged, easy fix.
The house salad was tasty, a few brown pieces of romaine in both my wife's and mine.
I got the strip steak and my wife got the salmon. Half of her salmon was juicey and flaky, the other half was the opposite. She got the macaroni and cheese, the sauce was broken and very grainy, she had 2 bites, I had 1 and that was it.
The strip steak had beautiful diamond patern grill marks on it and looked perfect. It needed a chainsaw to get through it though. Easily the toughest strip steak I've ever had, it was a workout on my chaw. The flavor was bland, mostly char, it was dying for salt, which isn't provided on the tables. I've literally had a better steak at sixzler. I asked for medium rare and it came out medium to well. It came with roasted whole garlic bulb but it was so over cooked you couldn't squeeze the garlic out. The loaded baked potato was severely overcooked and tasted like it. I really got the feeling that the steak was par cooked.
Our server was pretty lost with his 2 tables, I felt for him but he was terrible. It took 15-20 minutes to get the bill after asking multiple times, there seemed to be some confusion with the host and our server over the table number, which caused them to scramble around for several minutes. Many pieces of the business seemed broken, it was a very clunky service for only having 3 tables to work with, I could understand if they were slammed but it was quite the opposite.
I love supporting local businesses but I won't be back. This place is far to expensive for the experience you receive in my opinion. There wasn't one endearing quality...
Read moreThe 4 Seasonings steakhouse was one of the best culinary experiences I have had in a long time. We started out with some cocktails. The smoked old fashion was perfectly blended and the manhattan was so smooth. We had lamb chops and scallops to start. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection and the chimichurri was out of this world. The scallops were also cooked to perfection and the sauce was amazing. We split the dry aged tomahawk ribeye that started with a salad. We chose the wedge which was chargrilled, the char added an extra level to the flavor profile that got so well with the steakhouse. The tomahawk was grilled perfectly medium rare with a delicious cowboy butter, we had the Brussels sprouts that were delicious and the most amazing Mac and cheese I have ever had in my life, for desert we had the lemoncello cake which was the perfect desert to finish the night. Dae the bartender is the perfect mixologist and provided wonderful service. The owners are onsite checking on guest and providing wonderful service as well. As a proud black-owned family restaurant, 4 Seasonings shines in both food and service. It's a perfect spot for special occasions or a fun date night! Highly...
Read moreOn Sunday, August 24th, we, a party five came to celebrate a birthday. We had a reservation but were early, and got there before the restaurant opened, it was very hot outside and we were allowed to come in to get out of the heat. Betty, our server, was very nice and we enjoyed her making sure our questions and desires were addressed with a smile. She was very attentive and helpful with suggestions and we appreciated the pace of the meal. Food was attractively delivered, served with specific instructions followed, and delicious. We ordered the prime rib, lamb chops, salmon and steak for entrees. The sides of salads and garlic and onion soup were on point. They acknowledged the birthday with a delicious dessert and singing, ending our evening with smiles all around. Thank you. We will return and we are spreading the word about the wonderful...
