this is probably the worst emotional experience I've ever had at a drive-thru.
I have really bad anxiety and going into a store is pretty nerve-wracking, so a drive-thru is a close second. My boyfriend and I drove through the drive-thru and ordered a medium Pineapple Mango lemonade and a large Chocolate Frosty-chino. I had actually asked for a medium Peach Fuze tea, but she couldn't find that type of drink, so I went with the Pineapple Mango instead. I stutter sometimes when I'm nervous, but in the end, she understood my order and told me my order would be $5.19. She was pretty passive aggressive in the drive-thru, but I chalked it up to her having a bad day.
I get up to the second window, and she gives me a medium chocolate frosty. I'm a bit confused because she only gave me that, and not the lemonade. So I ask her where my lemonade is. She said to speak up and then started raising her voice, which turned into passive-aggressive blaming and then yelling. I just kind of went into flight mode and I could feel an anxiety attack coming on.
She told me she didn't hear me ask about the Pineapple Mango lemonade (even though I had asked for it and she exchanged a few words of confirmation to let me know they have the Pineapple Mango lemonade still in season). I don't do well with people yelling at me and mocking me (she kept repeating "medium" to make it clear that I was being too slow). So I just broke down in the parking lot.
I didn't catch her name, but she was working at the drive-thru window around 7:15 to 7:30 pm today, October 1st, at...
Read moreThis is the first negative review I have written in my life thus far. That is because up until now I have never felt so belittled by anyone in what I thought was a professional setting. Today at about 1:30pm I went through the Wendy's drive through like I have done many times before at this specific location and always have had a great experience. When asked what I would like I clearly said "Can I please have the four for four meal with BBQ sauce and a green tea". The man said anything else and I said no thank you and pulled up to the window. At the window the man asked me for nine dollars and some change after a lady handed me a bag of food which was not what I had ordered. I politely said "I'm sorry but I had wanted the four for four meal" and the man was instantly offended and said to me "Well you said a number four" and blankly stared at me. I apologized again and said that I had wanted the four for four meal. He had such an attitude and it made me feel very uncomfortable. I understand completely where the confusion would be reguarding the situation but he made me feel like I had done something wrong even though he misheard me. Even after this I just blew it off and was not angry with him. A lady handed me my food and I drove away. Once I was ready to eat my meal I opened my bag up to find that I was only given two chicken nuggets. And this is why I will never go back to that location again and am writing...
Read moreWow! Someone liked my review and I looked to see if others had similar experiences. How is this place still open? I read a couple of reviews that said the customer was very uncomfortable with the way they, oh and their grandkids, were treated. I should have contacted corporate office, because franchises have rules they must abide with. This place is so far off the beam it's crazy.
NOT GO HERE!! Worst and Scariest Wendy's experience! We went to drive thru this Wendy's tonight. It took 5 minutes to get through placing the order. Got to the window and paid, then a man came to the window and asked what we ordered. I told him and asked why and was handed bags. Looked in the bag and both meals were wrong. I tried to hand the sandwich back and he swatted it to the ground telling me "We don't take no food back!" I told him I wanted what I ordered at the drive through and repeated at the window. He started yelling at me that he gave me what I asked for. Things escalated and he said he wanted my license plate to call the police and I gave it to him. I asked if he was the manager and was told "don't worry about it". I asked for his name and he refused and eventually mumbled something starting with a D. Throughout this entire ordeal if he wasn't talking he stared directly at me which made me feel threatened. In the end I was overcharged and scared with an order that was...
