My friends and I usually love going to this Ruckus for trivia on Wednesday nights with Zac. Unfortunately we had one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in my lifetime with a waitress named Katie who claimed to be the manager. She would take our order and not write things down and bring us drinks we did not ask for. She got argumentative with me when I told her she gave me the wrong drink. Other people at my table had to say they heard my order clearly. I was not very hungry and asked to order off of the kid's menu (which I have done many times before) and she told me she couldn't put the order in for me because I was an adult and those were the rules. She didn't offer me an alternative solution and I had to resolve to ordering a slice of pizza because I wasn't certain she would get a more complex order correct. The icing on the cake was when she bullied my friend about adding meatballs to her pasta. My friend is very soft spoken and communicated the toppings she wanted but the meatballs were left off of her meal. This waitress argued with my friend and said repeatedly that she never asked for meatballs and later charged her for chicken instead of meatballs which was extra confusing. My friend expressed frustration about the waitresses argumentative tone and she came back to our table later using more of a combative tone complaining about her tip after my friend said she did not want to engage in a conversation with her further. We all left very upset and shaken up. Honestly I don't think I want to go back there for a while even though on average I/we like the trivia, food, and ambiance. If Katie was in fact a manager it was her job to not only provide optimal customer service but to support and intervene with customers who were upset due to poor service. Katie not only provided poor service but she doubled down in the most rude and exacerbating way which is unheard of for someone in a managerial role. I strongly recommend this site's owner intervene and provide more this staff technical assistance. I strongly doubt we were the only ones that night who also felt...

*Response to whomever thinks i’m “scamming”: I have proof in email of the quotes yes and of me CHANGING the order to ONLY 4 pizzas. I walked in and said I only ordered 4 Pizzas and had the email pulled up of Robert and I’s conversations stating exactly that. I also had somebody with me during the time of this encounter who heard me ask for just the pizzas and i’m more than happy to get her statement on this. I’m not sure how that is scamming when I was informed of the website I Originally ordered from was incorrect and that the items I selected were not in fact “$0.00”, so I requested we changed that to only 4, 18” pizzas, all double cut. Again, I have proof of this so if you’d like to see that I would love to send that over but your response is also very immature for a business.
I had placed a catering order through Ruckus for my gender reveal party on Wednesday. Somebody from Ruckus emailed me back letting me know it was the wrong website and they had helped me fix my order to get my food yesterday, May 27th at 1pm and used the money I originally used on wrong website to updated website with my order. I have email confirmation this happened. When I arrived to pick up my order, They told me my order was canceled and never put back through. So I showed the email and one of the girls who I believe was waitress staff, Came back to tell me that there was nothing and it would take 3 HOURS to get my order done, I was shocked. She then proceeded to try and get the manager who wouldn’t come up to speak to me at all. She kept sending this poor girl back and forth to play messenger for her as i’m trying to figure out what to do next as i’ve got 50 guests coming in 30 minutes. I asked to her if I can get a refund and was told the manager said “I can’t give you proof of refund so just keep an eye out, you should get it at the end of the day”. I usually love Ruckus but this was highly frustrating and very disappointing that I couldn’t even speak to a MANAGER. instead she stayed behind the counter talking to the waitress while making full eye...
Read moreUpon arriving on 9/12 around 705 pm. We were immediately seated in the bar area but right next to the claw machine game. Tons of kids and parents were at the game without masks on. We asked to move to another table in the bar area. We asked the manager about the people in the waiting area NOT wearing masks. We asked if it is still mandated while walking around the restaurant and told yes. Then why are you not mandating it? I am sitting here looking at 4 adults waiting to be seated without masks on. Oh and it took 20 minutes to get 2 beers from the bartender..... when your waitress tells you she will check back to see if you want another beer when you are half way done so she can get the order in, well that’s very sad. We have always enjoyed this location but will not be back any time soon. They need to follow mandated protocols or we will be back where we were at months ago, sitting at home.
In response to the owner's reply. I personally spoke to your manager twice. Your hostess came over to me and asked if everything was ok, to which I replied no it was not. I NEVER raised my voice at her, in fact I told her it had nothing to do with her. Check with your server as she was very nicely tipped! Perhaps if your Manager was on the floor managing the restaurant and NOT in the kitchen preparing meals mishaps like this would be addressed. An 18 year old hostess should not be the responsible party for advocating your patrons follow the rules you posted on your front door! As far as you stating a guest refusing to wear a mask, I also work in retail. When a patron enters our location we offer a mask to them. I can honestly say not once has one been turned away when offered. Perhaps if you did the same the statistic indicating that restaurants are where a majority of COVID cases are transmitted would go down. So much for supporting a small business in my local...
