This place was SO good. My daughter and I stopped for ice cream but also ended up getting tacos. She said the El pastor tacos were amazing and the chicken tikka that I had were as well! I had a Magonada and she had a Churro sundae. We would go back for both! The sundae had chocolate sauce, churros and your choice of delicious ice cream (there are many), the Mangonada came with chamoy, tajin, and a tamarind straw. We are going back to try more! Sorry no pics of the ice cream, it was gone too fast!

I finally visited Botana la Monarca and I'm so glad I did. I just needed a sweet treat and I found that in their mangonada and churros. I'll be making plans to visit for dinner very soon. Such a cute place, clean and wonderful smiles from the staff.

This little shop has amazing food! And the sweets selection is authentic and delicious! I would recommend after the zoo visit this is a excellent place to stop for lunch! Try the marinated chicken on the taco or burrito and the gancito shake! <3

I finally visited Botana la Monarca and I'm so glad I did. I just needed a sweet treat and I found that in their mangonada and churros. I'll be making plans to visit for dinner very soon. Such a cute place, clean and wonderful smiles from the staff.

What a delightful little place. I stopped in for barbacoa birria tacos, esquites, and churros. The woman who helped me was incredibly kind and friendly. She also offered a chocolate popsicle that was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was clean and bright. We loved the tacos and are excited to try asada tacos next time. Great local ice cream shop with a nice surprise. Not only do they have many interesting ice cream flavors, but also sorbets, homemade Popsicles, and Mexican food.

Biriani tacos and street tacos were great. I ordered spicy salsa with the street tacos and it was actually spicy! Normally, MN spicy is black pepper.
