I've had my ups and downs at this location which is off Hwy 18 and the corner of Navajo road. It's close to where my kids father lives, so he ends up wanting to grab a quick bite to eat a lot of times and the first time I had an Epic Cali burrito from there this was my experience.... You see the picture I took to go with this review?! Yup, that's what I got and I had ordered the whole meal which is $15.00 and this burrito should have been worth half that price, but I was in disbelief 🫢 that they actually sold this to me and thought that the carna asada being so burnt 🔥 throughout the whole burrito 🌯 wouldn't bother me at all or something and to pay that price and it's one of there top high dollar 💵 meals and that's what I got was beyond disappointing and had me flaming mad. I wasn't about to drive back to take it back to them and when I went to the Del Taco the next day, the manager wouldn't make it right by just making me another one or refunding the price of just the burrito. I showed her the picture I had taken and the date is on the picture as well as clear as day the Del Taco logo inside their foil wrapper they put the burritos in. I was in disbelief that this young lady that's the manager wouldn't help me by making this right. She tells me well did you call and I answered honestly that no I didn't call to complain and I wasn't going to waste my time and gas to drive back over to there store that same night but took this picture as proof and thought that since I'm here the very next day, which was less then 24 hours later then that should be worthy enough as a good reason to bring it to there attention. Instead I was given an attitude by a girl that's two times younger looking than me. What is happening to our world these days? People aren't courteous and kind and helpful or understanding anymore in a lot of fast food places, and there are the few out there that are helpful and understanding and trying to make sure the customer service is up to par and the customer leaves feeling taken care of instead of dismissed and embarrassed because they had to complain about something that needed for sure a complaint made. All I was wanting from this awful experience was an apology for the dissatisfied experience and just the time taken to acknowledge the problem. This location already has a bad habit of not adding extra cheese when you requested x2 on extra cheese, but I don't complain about things like that happening over and over again, but this EPIX EXPENSIVE BURRITO 🌯 Is where I had to draw the line and I do hope to hear what corporate has to say regarding this situation. Read moreUnfortunately I live near this del taco and walk down to the restaurant but I'm guessing because I was walking that I immediately was considered a homeless person. I ordered my food and asked to use the restroom with their key they provided. As I was using the restroom someone had knocked and I said 'one second' just to have the doorknob turn and an employee walk in with her body fully in the door while telling me I could not take a shower in their restroom. While looking straight at me. I was literally on the toilet using it and she still stood there till I could find the words to tell her I am not showering. After such an incident I was shaking and my anxiety was sky high, I didn't even want to get my food and have to face the young female manager that was laughing with the rest of the staff in the kitchen about what had just happened. All I could do was cry because I felt so violated in that moment. I ended up sucking it up and grabbing my food and leaving as quickly as I could instead of enjoying my food as I had planned to do. I refuse to step foot into this restaurant now because I know I will have to face the same female and staff that thought this was okay and even funny. I wish del taco would do better and I wish in that moment I had enough courage to call the police and press charges and follow through on a lawsuit but it was just too humiliating to want to stay there one second longer than needed. The ridiculous behavior of these employees needs to monitored and these employees need to be terminated. They do Del Taco no justice by having such disgraceful employees acting as if they have the right to make anyone feel the way they made me feel that day! Read moreThe lady states her name is Paulina but on the receipt it says Ashley I had made two separate orders in drive through and had scared my order for my discount points. My daughter had her phone for her order and she told me I was not allowed to scan hers one per car I told her I done it before she was rude and had an attitude she said her manager and cooperate said it's not allowed I asked her if my daughter could go in and use her card and phone and she said yes and closed the window not giving me my order. So I drove around and went in and told her that she forgot my order she said that I was waiting on fries I told her no that's was for the second order I didn't pay for I paid for first order she was moving her head side to side mocking me. I had my daughter go in and she says the lady was talking bad about me and had people in there laughing very uncomfortable professional I would give no stars.
