Cachanilla Jo’s Restaurant — Restaurant in Apple Valley

My husband & I were on our way to another restaurant and noticed this one. I wish we had kept on driving pass it. Looks nice outside and inside but the food was super lacking. The menu choices are very small. The chicken they use is leg and thigh meat so my choices were limited to beef. I don't like seafood and only eat chicken breast. I chose the beef fajitas. The beef was as tough as leather literally. I tried to chew it but had to spit it out. I tried a couple more pieces with no success. That whole batch was terrible. My dogs probably wouldn't have even liked it. Once the waitess was available I told her my experience, she was very apologetic several times apologizing, however it wasn't her fault with the type of beef that was being served. She said she'd take that plate off the bill. I agreed to pay for the rice and beans which were super small portions which maybe could have be charged at 4.99 not 9.99. Shucks the fajitas were 20.99. My hubby said his food was just okay. His beef taco was fatty chunks. The salsa was salty, not much choice in a salsa selection. The salsa didn't even have a chunky style.We won't be returning here. For the prices being charged they definitely need to offer more and improve the selection of meats to serve their customers. They've been in business for 3 years. Maybe the karaoke 🎤 is the part that the customers like. There's no alcohol being served because the liquor license had expired and they needed to renew. I recently visited this restaurant under their new management and I will say it was a disappointment and they did not even take in to consideration my severe allergy to red onion as I specifically told them several of times that it is an extreme allergy the waitress wrote it down the food I ordered was campichana and after my family order their food which was chicken nuggets and fries which came over cooked which i do not understand how you can mess up chicken nuggets then my daughter ordered carne sada fries came with way to much sour cream the cheese was microwaved and rubbery the so called carne asda was mostly fat and little meat and over seasoned and salty the carne then the burrito my husband orderd he could not eat because it was to salty and over seasoned he did not finish it we waited over 45 minutes to get our food and the environment was really loud and the a/c was not on it was hot I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone it was such a disappointment be never go there are lot more places that have great food and would love...

Deserves no stars!! This is absolutely horrible!! Looks like burnt dog food lettuce isn’t even cut, huge chunks of tomatoes,flautas aren’t even closed humongous chunks of burnt shredded beef,cheese didn’t taste good, I mean everything about it was disgusting how embarrassing I can’t believe I spent 13 dollars on dog food the restaurant is called cachanilla restaurant but they said it was michoacan style the lady in front was extremely rude had a huge attitude when I was asking what kind of flautas they had the cook seemed like he hasn’t taken a shower in years I cant believe I went in there now it makes sense why there was absolutely nobody in there on top of that she gave me 5 chips in a bag and to top it off the salsa was sweet wouldn’t even feed this to my dog!!
