Cousins Subs — Restaurant in Appleton

I normally don't leave reviews, in fact this is my first one. However, I just felt so compelled to express my frustration. The food is good as always, I frequent this Cousins location often. My frustration lies in the must have for food related businesses... food safety. There was none of that vital skill displayed in a particular associate. I feel bad and hate to call out names, however, I feel like this needs to be addressed. After cashiering, touching several handles, maybe even after handling money, she touched my food, particularly cheese curds out of the fryer with her bare hands. She didn't even bother to put gloves on. In times like these, especially going through a pandemic, the last thing you want to see as a customer is touching the food you'll be eating with bare hands. Cousins, please do better at teaching and practicing good food safety habits. Your customers trust you to be handling food properly. I will be back, but I hope this is...

Per usual, the food was great but even better this time was the drama! So there was only one person there to run the shop because one person was planning on quitting and hadn't shown up for her shift and another had to go to the hospital. So this young man was the only one there. He did great! So another assistant manager showed up to help, but then the manager who wasn't going to show, ended up coming in. It was priceless, you could cut the tension in the room with a knife. She showed up with her hair down, so the other manager yelled at her to put her hair up then asked why she thought it was just ok to not show up without calling. The quitting manager was not having it. She said, you can go home now. The customers were on the edge of their seat waiting for the drama to unfold. Unfortunately the time came where my sub was finished, leaving me with the regret of not getting a larger sub so that I could stick...

We arrived at 6:20pm on a Saturday to find out this store adjusted their closing time from a previous 8pm to 6:30pm. We ordered our food "for here", but recieved two comments from a staff worker saying "would you like your subs to go because we are closing at 6:30." We proceeded to eat our food at the restaurant and we were done at 6:40pm. As we were leaving, the staff worker was starting to say "the next time you guys stay in our lobby past 6:30..." (We left before she could say the remaining words).

The quality of the food was great/delicious, and one of the staff workers was very accomodating with our coupon and our ordering. This store seems to always adjust their hours (there is some blame on our part for not calling ahead to see when they close), but never should a restaurant give the customer the feeling that they need to leave immediately at closing time if they are already inside the...
