Rarely do I ever complain about a restaurant or its service seeing that I used to be in the business so I know how hard it can be, but this place was so terrible that I had to write a review. We (me and my daughter) arrived at 10:40 am and went to the host stand. The restaurant itself seemed rather busy as I could see that some waitstaff seemed overwhelmed with the number of tables they had. There was no one else waiting by the host stand, or anyone sitting around waiting for a table, so we stood by the host stand. And we stood there and stood there for several minutes before a host (her name tag said she was the assistant manager) came to the stand. During these 5 or so minutes, several waitresses saw us standing by the host stand but never acknowledged us or said anything like "someone will be with you in a moment". Once the host did come up, she never said "hello" or "hi" just said very rudely, "how many?". Never did she tell us how long of a wait it would be. The host walked away and seemed very annoyed and crabby as the way she was talking to the waitstaff/other co-workers was extremely rude. More people came to the host stand to register after us and again, never did the host/assistant manager say "hi" or "how are you today" just "how many" (and again, in a very rude tone). I have never been to or worked at a restaurant where there is a wait for a table and the host does not let the customer know how long of a wait it will be. After about 10 minutes, we were seated. We waited and waited and waited at our table. No one ever came by to say that they would be with us shortly or again, even acknowledged us. Tables that sat after we us were getting waited on before us. I could see SEVERAL tables near us that had ordered but did not have their food yet. After 12 minutes, I decided that we were leaving. The host who sat us saw us leave, but never asked us why we were leaving. We went next door to Applebee's where everyone was friendly, assertive and timely. Dude, the restaurant is not even a 3rd full!!!! This is EMBARRASSING!! YOUR COMPANY AND FRANCHISE OWNERS SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED!!
There is NO EXCUSE whatsoever for orders being 20 mins behind when you don't even have 1/3 of the restaurant full. What on earth would you do if you were ever full??? You have room for a restaurant but can't handle the volume of a tiny diner.... Smdh. This is Sad. Corporate Needs to Step in.
9/28/24 The service Still SUCKS!!! STANDING HERE OVER 5 MINS AND NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE HAS ADDRESSED ME!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!
The Service here is absolute Garbage. I arrived to pick up my order which was supposed to be done at 5:55pm. I was told just a few more mins. 5 mins later after walking past me several times I was told about 5 more mins there's a couple tickets ahead of mine.... At 6:14pm I was told just a few more mins... It is now 6:16pm and more than 20 Mins!!!! Past when the order was to be ready. The restaurant isn't even half full. I count only 5 tables with customers. This is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. No Excuse for it, at all. Mind you on top of it this whole time I'm watching employees with NO sense of urgency and apparently all the time in the world to gossip loud enough for me to hear from the kitchen.
Figure it out and learn how to run a business. Off this experience I would NOT recommend Perkins to anyone, particularly this location.

Good food. Excellent food. Not the healthiest, but I've been living off it for quite a while now (my mom loves to bring it home for us, and reminisces in the times when her and I used to go out to eat here previously). We both loved it here.
