We haven’t been to Subway in YEARS!! Today my youngest clipped coupons out of the book that came in the mail. (We rarely EVER use coupons lol she said she was just bored?) Well when we looked at them, and saw one that said 3 footlong subs for $19.99…we thought that was a pretty great deal for our family of 4!!( the girls split one foot long). ANYWAYS… there was only one young man working by himself! Let me tell you that he is REALLY great with people! He remains calm, he is very thorough when asking how we want our subs prepared, makes suggestions, doesn’t just quickly rush making your subs… he took the time to make each sub with care and picture perfect looking too! ( I regret not getting a picture of them!!) He also acknowledges and engages with the other customers who are waiting in line letting them know he will be with them shortly etc. Taking time to really give individual attention to each customer and not just whip through the process to get people out the door! From the moment he greeted us to the moment of check out( wrapping, labeling, and bagging up the subs, pretzel, cookies and chips) everything he did was done with such expertise! Oh and that Pretzel was really good too!!! He then explained to me how to scan the QR code to become a MVP Rewards Member(which I did once I got home :) ) I am sooo glad that our first time back to subway in years ended up being SUCH a pleasant experience all around! Amazing Food, Amazing Service, and a Calm and Inviting Atmosphere with the employee’s chill and warm vibe!! I left a 20% tip on my debit card but that wasn’t good enough because I know the employees don’t get much of the tips off of cards… so I went to the gas station next door quick to by something just to get some cash back…BUT they did not offer cash back on cards :( so I then used the ATM which charges $2 just to pull off a $20 bill!! I walked it back over to him and he was shocked and beyond grateful for my tip! I told him he deserves it because he really is awesome and does such a great job! He thanked me so much! For the record this was (Store #21754-0 the subway on south Oneida st Appleton, WI Inside the Fox Convenience gas station!) This rock star employee’s Name is Quinton! I hope his boss sees my review and gives him a lil raise...
Read moreThe store manager was very rude. I was at the store first before anyone came in the lobby, and the line got full. I sat here watching all the subs being made on my lunch break. I ordered my food in the car and waited multiple minutes before coming in, I sat and watched subs being made, and finally asked if my order was ready. She told me it printed just now but I was waiting 15 minutes she just hadn’t gone to the register to get the slip. She said it’ll be awhile and catered to everyone who came in after me. I asked if she could make mine next as I’ve been here first and I am on lunch. She said I can leave and cancel my order. She’s not going to do this with me, and that I’m trying to skip everyone in line. She said it loud infront of everyone telling me I can go. Going in order would mean my sub would be made in order prior to taking new orders of people who were here after me. I was embarrassed and in tears. This isn’t right and Angela B should be talked to. No customer service, no friendliness, no thanking me for my patience of 30 minutes for one foot long, but instead attitude and telling me we can go. I asked for corporate order and she refused to look and went to the next person. Then she threatened to call the police because we are just asking for our sub and she was intentionally taking all the new orders infront of me to be petty. Read moreWe have been going to this Subway for about 2 years at least once a week and it was okay until today. We ordered a footlong and a 6-inch, with a coupon for the 6 inch. They were friendly enough and everything, we paid and then left. What was really strange was they put the straw in the cup for us, with no gloves on??? Disgusting. ANYWAYS. We get home to find that there are only two 6-inches in the bag. So we call and they tell us that we can only get two 6-inches if we're getting a buy one get one free coupon deal.... we asked why they didn't tell us that when we were there and we were told, "because the guy who helped you was new". Okay, well already they had us skeptical about bringing our business back because of how unprofessional they were. Then the cherry on top of the cake- we open the soda (we were going to drink it out of a cup since we didn't really feel like drinking from a straw a guy had touched with his bare hands) and we find a disgusting white substance IN the drink. What the hell was it, we wonder?? If they didn't lose us at the "sorry but the guy was new", they definitely lost us at the unknown white stuff in the drink that had already been disgusting to us considering the unsanitary straw and whatnot.
