Donut Palace — Restaurant in Aransas Pass

What a lovely donut shop! I had a craving this morning for a donut and was not disappointed. I was promptly served at the counter after walking in. My order consisted of two frosted donuts with sprinkles, one blueberry cake donut, one old fashioned, a dozen holes, and an orange juice and a chocolate milk. I was ordering for a couple of friends with my only instruction being to bring back a bottle of chocolate milk. The donuts were a hit. I had one of the frosted with sprinkles (both actually. They were too good to share) and some of the donut holes. After finishing, My friend who ate the blueberry cake donut wanted to go back himself to get another. I was pleased, my group was pleased. The pricing was very reasonable with my 7 item order coming out to around $11.50. After leaving, I took a photo of the donut palace because I love the appearance of the building. The red drainage pipe is a nice touch. The donuts did not last long enough for me to get a photo of the goods as the moment I set them on the table at the hotel, my team ate them up. Ate three donuts and one croissant sandwich with an orange juice and still felt hungry. I am a fairly petite person that fills up on a pack of 4 out of 6 mini donuts from the gas station.

The food was far too light and delicious. I think they are meant for a dessert because these are dangerous to eat on an empty stomach. Was going to gift the other half of the dozen to friends and neighbors but I might end up keeping them for a late night snack. :p

Now that I discovered this place I'll probably be gaining some weight and having to brush my sugar stained teeth a little more. Worth it and...

Very disappointed been getting my donuts for about a year there. Went there sat morning and bought 37 dollars worth of donuts and kalaloch and 2 drinks. They charged me for 4 drinks when I showed they got obviously upset made bring every thing in and asked me where the other 2 drinks were I said we only bought 2 after a lot of discussions in foreign language the reluctantly gave me back the 4 dollars.very rude and I get home and they triple charged me on a half a dozen kolaches.
