The Q Spot — Restaurant in Arcadia Lakes

We patronized this establishment for my sister’s birthday today and let’s just say…..WE’LL BE BACK! They did not disappoint. First off, I knew I was going to have a large party and sent a message on Facebook to see if they could accommodate us (not really expecting a response). They responded to me within 5 minutes through our messages. Secondly, when we arrived, they made us feel welcome, our area was ready, and the atmosphere was giving Sunday dinner after church. Thirdly, the menu options were extensive and well priced (Options, Options, Options). Fourth, the food was Amazing (all was perfectly seasoned)!!! Every meat on our plates were tender and the sides were giving grandma’s house after church. We had a bit of a wait for our food, but it was 12 of us, their 1st day taking orders through DoorDash, and during their most busiest hours. But our food was hot and fresh when it came out. My daughter and I didn’t get out oxtails because they had already served all of the first pan and the second was still cooking, so we just chose something else (pot roast and turkey necks did not disappoint). This was my first time ordering from here. I ordered the baked turkey wing meal with rice and gravy, macaroni, candied yams, and collard greens. I also ordered a fried flounder meal with an extra chicken wing, macaroni and yams plus 2 cheesesteak egg rolls. For the price I was expecting my food to taste better. The turkey wing was ok but the sides were mediocre and I couldn't even eat the greens which I paid extra for. I was very disappointed that they were hard and had no flavor. The cheesesteak egg rolls were hard and dry. We didn't like them. There was no cheese in them or the cheese was dried up. I don't know because I didn't see any cheese, just meat. Also, the extra fried chicken wing we got still had feathers on it and was very small. We ordered cornbread with our meals and got a soggy roll. I don't know if I would order from here again. Maybe it would be better...

They have a chalk board of what they have for a menu, I should have known that was the first mistake of eating at The Q Spot! I Ordered oxtails, cabbage, double broccoli casserole. Sides was decent but the oxtails was burnt ate the sides and couldn’t eat oxtails they was horrible. I ate 2 pieces of them off my plate and my wife ate 2 bites from her plate and told me to take it back. They gave her a whole another plate but didn’t replace my meat I’ll chalk that up but never will go there again. The people at the front were sweating, wow ringing up people and handing out the food. They had a child fixing drinks and handing out the plates he was also sweating. It’s all about the professionalism in which there was none. The lady at the front seem to have an attitude when we were trying to place our order never smiled. I definitely will never step foot in this...
