I just came in for the first time and I walk up to order with a smile and the girl working just bluntly asks what I want. I precede to order a mocha, sadly I didnāt specify warm or cold nor was I asked which I would like. It is dumping rain so I truly figured it would be warm or she would ask for a specification. Led alone the rude customer service after I apologized for her making my drink wrong many times she ignores my apologyās and just says she will remake it. I thanked her and just apologized for the inconvenience it caused her . She continued to make me feel uncomfortable and just say nothing. Iām still sitting here waiting for my order . She took the past 4 customers and hasnāt made my drink. She just took another customers order and is ignoring me. Like genuinely I donāt know what to do at this point. I think Iām going to ask for a refund because this genuinely Dosent make sense. This girl has some personal issues she is taking out at work. Iām very much never coming back here which is sad this place is so cute and has potential to be something great. I just donāt recommend coming here if you care about how youāre treated. The coffee is good but the environment that worker is creating isnāt worth spending youāre money there. Take your money to a local coffee shop that cares about how theyāre customers are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWish we had found him a week sooner at the beginning of our trip to the redwoods! This is by FAR the best coffee shop in the area if you are considered a coffee snob. There are other places with plenty drinkable coffee but this is the only small batch, top notch roaster around. We spent some time speaking with the owner and he said heās been roasting his own coffee for years because there hasnāt been any of this type of coffee in Humboldt county. His experience shows and we are so glad to have been able to buy a couple bags so we could finish our CA trip knowing we will have stellar coffee every morning. No guess work! Thereās a couple types of small batch drop coffee available (even letās you sample to see which is best for your day!) and they were each amazing and distinctly different. Thank you thank you thank you šš¼ keep doing what youāre doing! Note: no pastries which in our book is just fine. They are doing their one thing super well! We went to donut mill for donuts because they were the bomb! Maybe see if you can collaborate with donut mill when you scale out your gig! That would be worth coming back to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFogline is a cute little coffee place in an industrial lot. I had a hard time finding it based on the google maps directions. You can access Fogline from two different parking lots. When you drive back in you might feel like you shouldn't be there (because it's industrial and doesn't look like a public access place). Yes there are bathrooms here. Haven't used them yet lol, but there's a sign. It's quirky location actually seems to actually augment the experience. It's just kind of cool to sit back here surrounded by factories, drinking coffee. The coffee itself is solid. I got a 12 oz latte, which comes with 2 shots. Look for a sign out by the road. When I came it was only by one of the entrances. Just bumble around to find it. The coffee will taste even better because of your efforts š oh and P.s. it's dog friendly apparently, because there's a water bowl for doggos on...
